Eh

We got exactly what we paid for, a cheap hotel stay. I asked for a non-smoking room and we got a smoking room. I didn't try to switch rooms because we were only going to be there one night.

The bad, and really bad

This was the absolute worst place we have ever stayed. The reservation staff was rude and unhelpful. When we arrived, there was no shower curtain, no toilet paper, and two of the lights were burnt out. We'll never recommend or stay at that place again.

Definately spend a couple days (at least) at Hersheypark!!

I do not recommend this hotel at all

The rooms smelled really bad. There was only one towel in the bathroom. The only kids channel was Cartoon Network, which cannot be watched by an 8-year old after 9pm. After waiting outside the office for 5 minutes for the girl to come back, she was rude and smelled horribly like cigarrette smoke. The morning guy was really nice. I would definitely not recommend this room to anyone, especially if you are traveling with kids.

i find the red roof is always a good value .the non smoking room smelled like cig smoke.

Good overnight facility

The Red Roof, Harrisburg is a good hotel for an overnight stay. Although there are no amenities to speak of, it is conveniently located to nearby restaurants, shopping and highways. You might want to bring your own pillow.
