TV in rooms kept losing signal. The rooms had a musty smell to them.

Bargain price for a hotel near Hershey - 6 miles away and easy to get to Hershey attractions but much cheaper than anything in Hershey. Staff promptly handled a few of problems (room key not working, plugged toilet, not enough towels)but acted like they were doing us a big favor. Room was clean and comfortable, hotel a little run down overall but not bad. Equipment in fitness room didn't work.

Hard to find behind gas station. Stained carpet, lobby dimly lit, tiny breakfast area, not worth the money.

The staff and hotel was great the only thing That I would have liked to see were some chairs and tables out side so you can sit out and relax and enjoy the outdoors, rather than having to stay in the room after the days outing.

This hotel is small and very quiet. It is set back from the road with a big field around it. It is also very close to all Hershey attractions. The only bad thing is that it didnt have tubs which is what my kids need but it did have HUGE showers!!

The Howard Johnson's in Hershey was absolutely disgusting. We only spent less than an hour there before checking out paying for a room across the street. It was dirty, water leaking in the window of the room and in the lobby. There were countless spiders and ants in our room and dead bugs all over the floor in the so-called fitness room which was just an unused hotel room with 3 old pieces of equipment in it. There was mold in the fridge, filthy microwave, beds smelled like urine, floor was filthy. Worst hotel I have ever had the displeasure of entering. Not to mention the manager was a complete jerk. He was sitting on the couch in the lobby smoking in a nonsmoking hotel and playing on his computer and didn't seem concerned at all about the water leaking all over. When we did check out, the manager was gone, and the girls behind the desk could barely speak English and they tried charging us for the 3 previous nights saying my husband was some ohter man that had been staying in that room! Unbelieveable! Because of this hotel, we had to come home early. It completely ruined our vacation. They more or less robbed us of our money and treated us like dirt. Never ever go to this hotel.

I was very please with the Howard Johnsons. I feel we got more than our moneys worth. The room was clean and I was impressed that the room had an iron, ironing board, safe, frig and microwave oven. We took advantage of the safe and frig. The front desk staff were very helpful. The continental breakfast had more variety than expected. The hotel was conveniently located near gas stations, convenience stores, grocery store and 6 miles from Hershey Park.
