Great business trip
I went to Harrisburg for an overnight business trip and took my 84 year old Mom along. This motel was GREAT and EXTRMELY clean! Even the elevators were clean. The staff was extra helpful in getting us a room close to the elevator so Mom didn't have to walk to far. The breakfast was scrambled eggs, bacon, cereal, fruit, waffles, donuts and muffins, and even gravy and buscuits! Not bad. I would definitely stay here again.

Internet special?
Because we used an internet price, they in turn would not bring us clean towels but every two days. We stayed four nights and they only cleaned the room once. Now I am for saving energy, but, it is nice for someone to check to see if you need clean towels, toilet paper, etc. Room was clean when we got there and staff was friendly, OK stay.

GPS location of this hotel is down the street further than it really was. When getting off of the interstate, look for the motel on the right across from the Sheetz fuel center.

Surprisingly Nice !
I only chose this hotel since it was close to my brother in laws home and we were there to visit him and do some other family activities. The price was right. I really didn't expect much. It was very clean. There was a lifeguard on duty at the well maintained pool. The room was cleaned in the morning while we were gone. This doesn't sound like much but I've stayed other places that I came back to at 3 and it still wasn't ready. The staff were pleasant and very helpful. We rented kayaks from "City Island" which was very fun. We went to Hershey Park. Another day, we went to Gettysburg and visited the new visitor center. I will warn you to stay away from a resteraunt that was up the road from the hotel. I think it was called "The Deck" or something like that. It was terrible! . There is a great restaraunt on the other side of the river from City Island but I can't remember the name of it either. It's beside another restaraunt called the Rock Bass Inn. It had a great outdoor seating area right over the river and the food was great.

very comfortable
It is obviously an older property but has had needed upgrades such as granite counter top, nice furnishings, to pretty much keep pace with newer ones.

Not clean
The front desk staff was very nice but the hotel room was in need of a good cleaning. The beds smelled dirty and the room had a loud unit air conditioner. The breakfast was not fresh and tasted like it had been sitting on the hot plate for hours. Overall a disappointing stay.

Good value; welcome breakfast
I selected this hotel for ovenight accommodations while attending the annual, October antique car show at Hershey, PA. Being such a large show, with so much to see, an ovenight stay at a nearby location was worthwhile, if the cost was reasonable, rather than making multiple trips from my Baltimore home. The Days Inn, Harrisburg North satisfied that need. I found the rooms adequate, though nothing fancy, and the free breakfast a welcome morning convenience. The drive to and from Hershey is within a reasonable time, but all persons exiting the hotel parking area back to Front Street should be directed to the rear exit onto the adjacent side street. Direct left turns for a return to the expressway are not permitted. Even a left turn using the adjacent side street is dangerous, and would be helped by installing a traffic activated traffic signal.
