MainStay Suites Grantville

We stayed for 2 nights to visit Hershey, PA. We had a king suite with separate living room with sofabed and kitchenette. Plenty of space for 2 adults and a 7 year old. Our son loved the slide at the indoor pool. The mini golf was a hit too. The sofabed in our room was broken. We just pulled the mattress out and put it on the floor. There was shampoo, but no conditioner and we had to ask for hand soap. We did not try the continental breakfast. Overall property was clean. It was a short drive to Hershey Park, outlet shopping and Troegs Brewery. I would consider staying here again.

Currently my family and I are living in 2 different states due to employment. We decided to meet in the middle for a weekend. This hotel suited our needs quite well. It has an indoor pool with a water slide [warning, high chlorine levels] as well as a mini-golf game [lots of fun], a small basketball court [no air in the ball that we were given], and a mini game room. We really enjoyed the kitchenette. That was perfect for our weekend fun. The last time we met, we stayed in a hotel down the street that was much more expensive. We appreciated the price at MainStay Suites. We would do have a few criticisms. If you stay more than 1 night, the beds are not made the following day. Also, the cups and shampoo [1] were not replaced the 2nd day either. We were given fresh towels, however. We were also hoping for better choices for breakfast, including eggs and sausage. Overall it was great for our needs, but those were the few issues we would love to see rectified for future visits.

The hotel was beautiful. If you have kids its the place to stay. The staff was helpful and very nice. I will stay at this hotel again.

overall, it's a reasonable place to stay with reasonable price.

We had a real good stay everything we wanted to see was only a few miles away. The staff was very good and the room was very clean. We had a great time.

Clean rooms, although a poor trapped fly was abuzz in the room. Indoor mini golf and basketball was added bonus. Front desk was helpful, helped us goodle directions for amusement park. Not happy that breakfast was done at 9:00Am and we were never told thats when it ends.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We visited Hershey Park during the day and then the Outlets the next day. Nice location. Hotel has a nice pool with waterslide. Also has an indoor basketball court along with indoor mini golf (FREE). Room was clean and looks fairly new. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was just ok. Check out was 12pm, which was nice too. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again. Very few hotels now can accommodate 2 adults and 4 kids in the same room. We stayed comfortably.

THE STAFF WAS EXTREMELY HELPFULL AND KIND. WE WERE VERY COMFORTABLE THERE.

Our room smelled of cigarette smoke the whole time, aparently there is smoking allowed on the balconies and it floats into your room even if the window is closed. The pool is super heated, like a giant hot tub and the breakfast was just alright nothing fancy and no one goes the extra mile. Also there is only 1 elevator and you have to constantly wait for it and we looked for the stairs... still not sure where they are!

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was nice. Hotel pool and entertainment area were small but clean and perfect to fill a few hours while it rained outside. Short trip to Hershey Park. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
