So called breakfast was horrible
there were only two towels in room and they were paper thin. Was supposed to have queen beds had double- one ice machine for all floors- noisey- walls thin- heard neighbors all night. The offering for breakfast was cereal and toast and only two tables available to eat at. No in room fridge

affordable good motel
we visited Gettysburg for the first time and it happened to be a bikers convention in town. Although there were a lot of bikers at the hotel it didn't bothered us at all our stay was great friendly staff the whole time, room was clean and neat and location was great.

Awesome price at a great location.
The hotel was nice and quiet, and the staff was very friendly. I was disappointed when I found out that the IN-door pool was closed. The location was great. You could get any where within 10 minutes. We will definitly visit there again.

The Ghost Tours are awesome, but there are alot to choose from. GhostLabs from the Discorvery Channel was there when we were, so some of the ghost tours were unavailable. They were doing paranormal investigations. Really Cool!

Clean Room, good location
The hotel was clean, there was only complementary soap so don't forget your shampoo & conditioner. There weren't any cups in the room either. I have paid significantly less for rooms and had much more comfy beds and pillows w/ several complementary items. But it did the job and was clean. Staff seemed pleasant.

Okay
Clean enough and okay rooms, but the cheapest of everything== the toilet paper rivaled european variety tissue paper. Staff was friendly, and the place was quiet, but I would rather have stayed elsewhere, so the place would not be my first choice. If it had not been parent's weekend at the college, I would have preferred a chain with more amenitites.

Old Eagle Grill is in the Gateway Complex and is adequate for the nights when everything is jammed. I enjoyed my food, but my companion did not.

"Unbeatable location for the price"
I cant say that the rooms were 5 star. But the rooms were nice especially for the price. The hotel workers very very nice and pleasant and assisted us with every need. The indoor pool was a good temperature and the hot tub was hot and actually worked which says a lot- like they actually are maintained unlike some more pricey hotels I have stayed at. All in all the rooms were clean, the staff was friendly and the prices were outstanding. I love the town and I will stay at this establishment again.

The hotel is not far from the middle of the main part of town. It could be a decent sized walk or a very short drive- It is walkable into the town, but if driving you are right there. The location is wonderful. For a 3 night stay- I almost paid an extra $200 for a hotel further away, which was a little more upscale but more accommodating for business people.

Check in was quick and easy, and when I checked out in the morning, the manager remembered what room I had stayed in before seeing my room card.

Make sure you get breakfast at the Lincoln Diner. You can also go by there for some after dinner desserts, which are homemade and wonderful! The diner is conveniently located on the way to the major attractions.

pool cold as ice
We had family coming up to join us and we were at the pool which only a few stayed in for just a little bit. That was a major disappointment to the other children who couldn't tolerate the water temperature. We have never been unhappy with any other hotel pool that we have used. The jacuzzi was too hot and had algae all over it. It was too slimy to get in we had to sit on the side.

The Super Eight was a ...
The Super Eight was a minimalist hotel at best. They offered stale generic fruit loops and raisin bran, stale danishes and warm milk. The other beverages were less than satisfactory. The hotel pool was hazy and dirty. The bathroom was full of mildew. At one point during my stay I was in the room with my son watching a movie and had the no service sign up when two young hotel staff members ran into the room and looking very guilty made a very hasty exit out of the room. I will never use that hotel again.
