A 2 Star

Rooms were old and out dated. If you want a fridge you have to call and request it. Coffee maker didn't work. Carpets were old, stained and dirty in the rooms. 1980's TV.

Decent, but needs updating

Bed was comfortable, but the room needs a overhaul. Pillows not comfortable and carpet is in dire need of replacing. Served our purpose of place to crash for the night.

False Info. on the website

Upon arrival it looked as if the hotel was going to be a great experience. The room was ready when we arrived and it was clean when we enered. The beds were rock hard and the pillows were hard as well. Housekeeping was accomodating in giving us extra pillows as requested to try to find some soft ones. The website stated that there was a pool and it did not state if it was heated or not. However it was freezing cold. We were unable to get in it. The website also said that there was a jacuzzi and we came to find out that it had not been in working order for several years.

This hotel is the pits! Do not believe the hype on their website. The grounds are beautiful but the inside of the hotel is horrendous. The hallway carpets are full of stains, smell, mold, roaches. The furniture is old, raggedy, smelly. Tthe new part is a little better but still old, outdated, raggedy furniture. Tthe pooside area - yes it is tropical - to the point that it is so hot if you are asthmatic do not go by the pool - no air - 100+degrees - fans near pool area do not work and the water is HOT! DO NOT STAY THERE!!

Don't be fooled by their "professional" photos!

I've got some news for everyone looking into booking this hotel that shocked me when I realized it, and I'm here to spare anyone else the same disappointment.... The photos of this hotel were taken about five years ago. What can happen in five years, you wonder? A LOT. My husband had traveled here about then, and found the hotel to be a great-a great value, clean, and a nice place to hang out. Not so more! The hotel looks NOTHING like any of the photos. Everything is in disrepair, dirty, full of bugs, and just disgusting. Nothing has been updated or even taken care of in the last five years, and it shows. Don't expect anything you see in these pictures. After speaking with locals, we realized that as soon as plans failed to put a casino in that location, the hotel just gave up. It's quite clear. We had to cancel our second night, we were so repulsed. I pray to God we didn't bring any uninvited bug guests home, it was THAT BAD. DO NOT GO! (Especially if you have children!) Save yourself the trouble!

A fine hotel

This hotel is not the greatest, but it is not that bad either. I think it has a poor rating because no one is impressed with it enough to give it five stars, but occasionally people have bad experiences and give it 1. It just your standard hotel. The furnishings are a bit old and nothing is high quality, but the facilities are not in disrepair nor dirty. If you are just looking for a place to sleep for a night or two, it serves adequately.

Probably will never go back.

When we arrived in the first room they gave us. The beds had never been made or the room cleaned from previous guests. The room we ended up in was not very clean. The bathroom floor was gritty, there was something red on the wall and floor that looked like blood and the toilet did not look cleaned. The person at the counter was very nice and helpful. The next morning when I turned the keys and complaints slip in the person did not even look at the card. Just took the key and card, said drive safe and went in the back. The rest of our trip was excellant.
