Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Gettysburg, PA

We spent four days at this Gettysburgh PA hotel during our daughter's Spring Break. We chose this hotel because it is pet-friendly. It is people friendly, too! Clean, fresh, quiet rooms; friendly, helpful, all-round wonderful staff; outstanding breakfast; outstanding location; fabulous value. I highly recommend this hotel.

Staying here was a great decision. The hotel is very close to all the attractions of Gettysburg. It is literally across the street from the Outlets. There is a nice size in-door pool and jacuzzi open until midnight. Perfect way to end the day. Soft, delicious chocolate chip cookies at the reception desk all day long as well as the best tasting coffee with flavored creamers! The breakfast is one of the best free breakfasts Ive ever had...make-your-own waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon, muffins, bagels, toast, fruit, yogurt, cereal, coffee and juice. I definitely recommend staying here!

We booked The Country Inn and Suites before and were pleased. This time the hotel was booked full and still the place was great. We swam enjoyed the hot tub, but the breakfast was unbelievable. There was so much food. Fresh fruit, Hot items, different each day. We will be back again. The new visitor center was the highlight of our trip.

Labor Day Weekend and the hotel was full. We were pleased with everything, We did not expect a full hot breakfast with all the amenities. So close to everything and it was very quiet and we slept well. Try it it's almost perfect.

It is located a little further out from town than I figured. It's right next to an outlet shopping center for those who like to shop. The rooms were very nice, very clean, great pool and nice breakfast. The staff was very nice, too.

The hotel was approx 5 minutes from the downtown. Within walking distance of the hotel were shopping outlets and a movie theater and eateries. The hotel's appearance both inside and outside was very nice. friendly staff and great continental breakfast. I was surprised how beautiful the hotel was due to its reasonable price. check in was quick and easy and they had complimentary coffee, tea and snacks. The room (which was the basic) was wonderful. very clean and spacious and nicely decorated. definitely would recommend to anyone and would go back again personally.

Employees are devoted and strive to provide a beautiful, clean environment for a few nights stay. Breakfast was expanded this year to include hot eggs/bacon/potatoes which complemented the existing array of food.

Other than noisy neighbors above me I enjoyed my stay at Country Inn & Suites in Gettysburg, PA. Very clean room and hotel. Convenient to dining, shopping and easy access to US Rt 15.

We visited Emmitsburg, MD (National Shrine of St. Elizabeth Seton), shopped and toured the historic sites.

I was very surprised by how nice this hotel was. I had never stayed in this brand of hotel before so I didn't know what to expect. But it was really one of the nicest places for the money we paid. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are ample, well maintained, and very clean. They didn't smell like hotel rooms (maybe b/c it's a non-smoking hotel.) The breakfast provided was adequate, nothing exciting, but there was plenty. The woman who services the breakfast bar had a lot of personality and was helpful. The hotel is not right in the town of Gettysburg. So there's a short drive to get there and the battlefield. And I would recommend that you get a good map of the town of Gettysburg and learn some of the side streets to avoid the traffic on the main streets. The hotel is located next to an outlet mall, which is quite convenient for those who want that, but doesn't make for a nice view. There is a TGIFridays next door, but otherwise you have to drive into town to find interesting places to eat.
