Family vacation
Very old hotel. If you accept that then you will not be disappointed. Great for short stay. Breakfast is good. Location is great to walk to many sights. Compare the value and location with a very old hotel to see if this is right for you.

Dobbin House restaurant has wonderful food but is high priced. If you're willing to pay, you will not be disappointed.

Enjoyed a lot.
This place has character. It is an older place, but clean and comfortable. The staff could not have been better. The location was great...we could walk to all the places we wanted to visit. The staff was helpful in suggestions of places to see and places to eat.

Old Gettysburg Hand
Old Plant, but Clean
This hotel is old, its physical plant woren, but the room was clean and right on the strip in Gettysburg. The only complaint we had was that when we entered the room the air conditioner has a barnyard smell to it that disappeared after a few minutes. I guess the cavalry reenactors had stayed there.

Right on the strip in Gettysburg. Can walk to all the local shops and three minutes by car from the National Park Center and organized guides of the battlefield.

It was ok...
It was an older hotel... It was clean and the beds were comfortable. It was good for a one night stay, but if i was going to stay multiple nights i would stay someone else. The Wi-fi was a pain to get setup and use, we were sweating to death in the hallway walking to our room..

"Unbeatable location for the price"
We went to Gettysburg to tour the battlefield and just wanted a clean quiet place to relax. The hotel is older, but clean and the rooms were very quiet. Close to shops & restaurants.

We enjoyed having a casual dinner at the Dobbins House in the downstairs tavern. Loved the atmosphere and character!!

Not bad
Older hotel, very clean. However, air conditions not very good. One broke down, maintenanace grew sprayed WD40 trying to get it too work, setting off childs asthma. Hotel was not willing to discount for their issues. And no coffee machines in the room....

Easy Tourer
Gettysburg PA Civil War Trip
The Hotel was alittle older but clean and the proximity to the battlefield and downtown was wonderful. We could walk almost everywhere. The hotel folks were a pleasure to work with.

Picky traveler
Interesting Hotel, byut great location
The hotel did not look the picture [...]. It had two doors to get in and out of the room. It wasn't dirty, but a different set up for a room.

The hotel is close to a friendly's and is within walking distance of other various shops to do tourist activities. There is also a great pizza place close to the hotel with great service and good food.
