Very good hotel for the price
I thought that the hotel was far away from the airport, but in reality, it only took 5 minutes by cab to get there and is situated along a road with many other hotels. The lobby is deceiving in that it is nice but pales in comparison to the room. It was very tastefully done and appeared as if it had been recently renovated.Top notch toiletries in the bathroom, soft crisp sheets, and, as a business traveller, free wifi in the room. The staff was super friendly and there is a great ine just two buildings away, next to the Dennys. I will be staying there again on my next business trip.

Typical Wyndham
Poor staff overshadows what is otherwise a nice hotel. Although I pre-booked and paid for my stay in advance, the front desk clerk ran a $50 charge against my credit card. When I asked what this was or she replied that it was for "incidentals." Considering that this was nearly half my room rate, I asked her what the "incidentals" were. She gave examples such as use of the in-room telephone, ordering pay-per-view movies (the manager later said that pay-per-view is not available - who is lying here?) When I told her that (a) I use my cell phone and, (b) I wasn't staying there to watch movies, she said that the deposit would be returned at check-out (but it might be 5-10 business days before I see it.) Room was gorgeous. One of the "incidentals" the I counted immediately was that the TV remote didn't work at all. It took 2 trips to the front desk to correct that, after no one responded to my phone call from the incidental telephone. Convenient parking and airport shuttle though. All in all it was better than hassling with morning traffic and airport parking headaches. Reasonable prices in the in-house lounge, although it was a ghost town. I don't know if I will stay here again. I really don't care for the huffy, snooty attitude of Wyndham staff. It is pervasive throughout the brand.

Go to Lehman's. The food & portions are excellent, great staff. Good for a nice quiet drink, and a cigar.

We had a marvelous stay at the Wyndham. The staff was very polite and helpful. All our needs were met and the location was not far from all sights.

Decently Priced for What I Got
The staff was extremely nice -- but that's the only plus point. We stayed at this place for about 5 days. Between the two of us ... we had one bar of soap the entire time. We even requested more (having gone down to the desk ourselves), and were told that one would be sent up. It never came. Coffee wasn't ever replenished in our room. The room would be half cleaned on certain days. We had to ask for more toilet paper, when it was evident that we were on the last few squares :-/. It's just that we had to ask for things as we ran out ... it's not that they wouldn't provide it ... but it would have been nice to just have it there. Finally, the restaurant that's inside this hotel has weak service. There seemed to be one person who was managing both the cash and the serving. This person was incredibly slow to bring out the food. Would I stay here again for the price that I got, probably yes. But it would have been nice to not have come across the minor issues that I did face. But again, the staff was incredibly nice :).

The Kimmel Center has free live music events from time to time. There was a nice band playin' jazz the nights we were there ... we had a good time.

The Wyndham was beautiful! We ate dinner in the restaurant and the food was delicious. The room was clean and comfortable. It was close to the airport and easy to get to.
