Great trip
Great staff, and the room was extremely clean. It was also a very stormy weekend due to hurricane Sandy, but the bay view was still pretty nice. I will say the room was cold regardless of heat settings, but the winds did get pretty high while I was there. I'm sure normally it would not be so cold. This will be the only place I stay when I travel to Erie for now on. Great service, great food, and great rooms.

Short walk from hotel
State street has all sorts of pubs with live bands, as well as art galleries. A lot of shopping to be done in the area as well, and the walk is pretty pleasant.

Convention Convenience
We stayed at this hotel for a ceremony being held in the convention center next door. It was clean, comfortable and, most importantly, convenient. The hotel is attached to the Bayfront Convention Center by an elevated walkway, can't get better than that. This is is highest rated hotel in the Erie area at 3 stars so even if you aren't going to the convention center its not a bad choice. Reasonable rates, clean accommodations, I would recommend it.

Best That Erie Offers
It is very nice (for Erie, it's the best you can get) and convenient for downtown dinner and drinks. I usually stay there because of the view of the bay. Parking is terrible [...].

Go for dinner at Mi Scuzi on Myrtle Street. Best hole-in-the-wall italian restaurant and not as loud as Calao's.

Hotel with Awesome View
Great hotel..very fancy with a perfect view right on Lake Erie. Had to pay $10 to park though.Its so new my GPS didnt know where it was,so make sure to mapquest it.

Good location but a bit disappointing
Met my BF for 'girls weekend' and decided to stay right on the Bay at Erie - treat ourselves to what we expected to be exceptional - we typically don't spend well over $200/night. It was a beautiful location, the room was clean, quiet, with a water view. Beds were fairly comfy. We were VERY disappointed with the dinky 'swimming pool' - only 3'4" deep(!) more like a wading pool. Can't swim in it, and we were really looking forward to swim exercise. Breakfast voucher included with our 'room deal' turned out to be $30 maximum and we expected it to be more than enough for 2, but the prices were high and we still had to pay extra for basic fare. Also, you have to park in the convention center parking garage - $10.00 per night. In addition, Orbitz price at $209/night did not include $46.00 extra in fees and taxes! Overall nice, but not worth the extra money in our opinions. We would recommend it based on location, but be warned!

Check out the Maritime Museum and the take the tour of the USS Brig Niagara - within walking distance of the hotel, and really interesting. It sails every day during the summer month and is a beautiful ship - you also can make arrangements to sail with them!

Hotel is new and clean, great view of Lake Erie and Marina. BEWARE: Sheraton's own website shows a map with an incorrect location for the hotel! Call them before using mapping software to find the hotel

very unhelpful front desk when i called to change the name on the reservation. was told that i would have to call orbitz to do that !! had to talk to a supervisor who was able to do that. front desk folks need to be trained better !! not very sensitive to my simple request ! also, sad parking situation that you have to use a city parking lot ! or meters !

great location for a quick get away
Directions were off but once I found the place it was quite nice, clean and bright. Nice getaway for a weekend. Good way to mix business with pleasure

"Nice getaway"
Close to things to do, like shopping, gambling etc. The only thing we didn't like was paying for parking at the hotel.

Brand new and very clean
