Definatley stay again!

This motel was very nice, clean & comfortable even though it was a truck-stop, off the highway kind of place...The AC worked great, even a bit too good...The queen bed was clean & the bathroom was small yet spotless...Our room also had an ironing board w iron, tv, coffemaker hairdryer, safe...Not bad..It was also nice to have a convenience store within walking distance..(as well as a restaurant, pizza hut/subway & a gas pump) Very basic, but all around nice for a day or two trip...

Not Recommended

Pros: The motel room was clean except for the smell and close to the interstate. Cons: Even though I requested a non-smoking room, it reeked of cigarette smoke. I cannot verbalize how awful this was. In addition, there was no warm water for the shower in the incredibly small bathroom. Finally, I could hear the adjacent room's television for at least an hour while I tried to fall asleep. tl;dr? Spend the extra $30 on a better place or regret it.

Weekend getaway

We were so pleased with our stay at Rodeway. Very, very clean and pleasant room. We were able to relax and enjoy ourselves. The restaurant that was just a few steps from our room was very nice. Clean and very friendly staff and good food. Free breakfast buffet was great. Will look for Rodeway from now on for all our getaways.

Shopping tip: Short drive from hotel

Shopping in the Erie area is the best. I was shopping for my grandchildren and had so many great choices.

Good Value

I was traveling to Erie on business. The Rodeway Inn is right off the exit, and a great location for travelers from the east. One of the lowest-priced hotels in the area, it had everything I needed in a snowstorm. Good heat, hot water, and a complimentary breakfast at the TA Travel Center. Cheap gas, too. Not very fancy or modern. Not the place I'd vacation with the family, but my priorities were to save time and money, and Rodeway delivered. I'd stay there again.

Decent stay for the price

A bit rough around the edges, but you get a clean room, a neat bath, comfortable bed, and surprisingly quiet stay--despite the "truck stop" atmosphere. Even though I was on the Interstate side of the building, traffic was barely audible--less than many three and four star accommodations. Don't expect friendly customer service during check-in. It's done by whomever is running the cash register in the convenience store.

You get what you pay for

For the price this hotel was good at best. Room definitely needed a make-over. Place was clean and right next to the 24-hour restaurant/gas station. Easy to find and right off the highway, this hotel is close enough to all the attractions without the bill.
