Red Roof Inn Erie

On our way to Cleveland we stopped at Erie and stayed in the Red Roof Inn. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was very comfortable nd clean and the location was perfect. There were many good eating places very close to the motel.

Clean, comfortable facilities. Decent location, close to highway. Loved the stay!

Great location. Easy to get to right off the interstate. One mile from casino. Close enough to Presque Isle. Room very clean. Only drawback was the older tv but not an issue since we were gone most of the day. Very friendly staff. Love the extras, free play for the casino, coupons for local rest. and free breakfast at the adjacent McDonalds.

bathroom was very nice, room had cozy lighting, bedding was comfortable, a/c and heat worked very nice. even though it's 75' from I90, it was rather quiet. it is within 8 miles of waldameer, bicentennial tower, harbor view mini golf, flagship niarga. will be staying there next year for our company picnic.

Basic but clean, very nice staff! I couldn't find the ice machine, so I called the front desk. When Dave at the desk told me it was in the building the lobby is in (I was in a neighboring building), I must have sounded disappointed, because he brought ice to my room for me! It was above and beyond the call of duty.

The staff was friendly. The room was clean. The bathroom was very very small. The king bed was not real comfortable pillows were too hard. Room did have a frig, microwave and safe. The free breakfast was at the McDonalds just in walking distance of the hotel. The only real big complaint was the door did not seal well it had a big gap and lots of cold air came in had to crank up the heat all night.

The room was very clean and comfortable. However, it was supposed to be a non-smoking room, but we could smell the smoke upon entering. I understand you cnnot check every room when guests occupy the room, but you could put a notice up that if a room says non smoking and there is smoke after they check out, they would have to pay an extra charge for trying to fumagate the room for the next guest.

The Red Roof Inn was very clean. There was no lingering odor in the room from previous tenants, no stains visible, and the bathroom was pleasantly bright and clean as well. The Television worked out nicely, and the complimentary was what I expected. Not Fios speeds, but not dial-up either. The only real problem was that I could hear people in other rooms at times. Not too sure what they were doing to be able to be heard so easily, but I could hear them. Overall, this was a nice place to stay overnight. If you need a place to stop overnight, don't be afraid to hit this location.
