Microtel Inn Erie

Staff was friendly. Breakfast was well stocked. Price was right. However, address was not found as Erie, PA it was listed under Summit (Erie).

It was within walking distance from a conference I went to attend. Negatives: Exercise room was a joke. Literally. I joked with my wife that the room would probably have an old treadmill and in fact that was all it was. No pool. Rooms very small and no microwave or refrigerator nor coffee maker in the room. Coffee was out in the lobby along with the microwave. Ice machine was on second floor only without any signs indicating where it was. Positives: Staff friendly Free breakfast was very nice with quite a variety but the staff will pack it up at the end of breakfast, regardless if you are still eating. Pets allowed but I heard no animals. Designated doggy doo doo area in back. Comfy window pad or seat you could actually nap on. Toiletries provided. Very within walking or short drive to a variety of stores and restaurants. Price was cheap compared to the other motels in the area, almost half the cost.

The value for your money was good, but the rooms are tiny. The breakfast was good and the staff were friendly and accomodating. For shoppers, the location is ideal--lots of stores and restaurants, right on Peach Street.

Very easy to find off the interstate. Very friendly staff and I was very pleased with the very comfortable clean room & they even have a decent contental breakfast. I would definately stay there again..

The room was clean and decorated nicely. The lobby was very nice and the breakfast setved more than we expected. All in wll our stay was enjoyable and the service was great. We recommend those going to Splash Lagoon save on the cost by staying at this hotel as it is directky across from Splash Lagoon and easily accessed because of the signal right at the exit of the hotel and entrance of Splash Lagoon. We definitly will be staying here again next year.

Was awaken at 5am by a strange banging noise that continued for 6 hours. Sounded like a washing machine, but hotel manager said it wasnt.

Improvements noted since last visit. Staff friendly, breakfast excellent, pet friendly, and special request accommodated. Great Value!

This was a great deal. They had a good breakfast with a lot to choose from and always had hot water/coffee available throughout the day. The room was really small, however, and the TV was small and old, so it was harder to watch TV. The rooms aren't very sound-proof. We could hear our neighbors' TV. If you aren't looking for any place fancy, this is an average place to stay. It's in a good location, close to restaurants and shopping.

The room was to small. There was no clean bedding one me 2nd. day.

I had a pleasant stay at the Microtel in Erie, PA. The establishment is pet-friendly and very accommodating. The complimentary breakfast was above par: "made to order" waffles, eggs, ham, corned beef hash, biscuits and sausage gravy, bagels, muffins, toast, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, coffee, tea and juice. The room was small, but fine for one person (and dog) and came with an iron, ironing board, safe and hair dryer. The bed was very comfortable. The shower and bath were excellent, and the hotel provided any toiletry items you may have forgotten. I would recommend for people traveling alone (or with pets!)
