Captain Special Forces
Easy access to Mall shopping
Room was clean and bright, but lacked the very useful microwave and fridge. Front desk staff were friendly and oblidging. Free breakfast was the usual basic items: waffles, cereal, bananas, coffee, O.J., toast, etc. Free newspapers ( USA today and local). Plenty of well lighted parking space. Hot tub had been filled in...shucks! Our room TV had a volume control defect - had to set the volume at 50 to be able to hear the program.

Overall, not too bad. Room was decent. However, the towels were discolored. makes me wonder if they are not using bleach to clean the towels. Room was not ready by 3, had to wait until 3:30 to check in. staff was friendly. Breakfast could have been much better but they do at least have coffee, tea or hot choc available at all times.

Fire Birds restaurant in the mall was great. a little pricey but the atmosphere and food was great.

Comfort, plus!
We stayed at this hotel for a conference in Erie, and found the location to be perfect for shopping, eating out, etc. The hotel was comfortable, the room, the beds, the peace and quiet. The pool was a nice plus for relaxation, and I would definately stay here again. We never did find the work-out room (if there is one) and we were slightyly dissapointed to see the spa area of the pool closed over, but understand the difficulty of keeping one balanced and sanitary. The staf was nice and friendly. Great location for serious shopping excursions with more stores in a one mile radius than I could visit in two days.
