Super 8 Stroudsburg

Worth the money. Came for a ski weekend for 2 night stay.

Came for ski weekend and tried a nearby casino (Mt. Airy). Staff here was friendly and the location is good. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Overall a good value and just the basics.

This Super 8 was one of the cheaper spots in the area and you get exactly what your paying for. No frills. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable enough to get a good night of sleep. I was in a non-smoking room and didn't smell any smoke around me. There was a TV with cable, no wireless internet. Staff was helpful, although I had no problems that they had to respond to. It was quiet. The hotel was right off 80 between Stroudsburg downtown and the Delaware Water Gap park, which was what I was there for. The continental breakfast was light. English muffins, cereal, donuts, coffee and juice. I'll definitely use it again if I go back to the area. The price is right!

Hotel was bare bones, dated, lack of updates or amenities. Felt it was overpriced for what you got.

Hotel was good , breakfast was limited, internet was terrible.

We went down there for a family reunion. Location is good and restaurant next door was a great place to eat. The guy who checked us in was not overly friendly, nor helpful and forget welcoming the guest. We felt like we were bothering him by checking in. The hotel itself is in need of an update. We were in room 112. There was a strong odor of what smelled like cat urine as we went down the hallway. The smoking and nonsmoking rooms were mixed together. The smoke from the other rooms made it into ours (nonsmoking room). The room itself was clean and nice. The bathroom needs some work. We had to hold down the handle for the toilet to flush and the water pressure was poor in the shower. I was glad we were only there for the one night.

I stayed for a night for a church retreat near the hotel. The room have A/C and equiped with microwave and frige. Great if you have kids that need to store milk and heat up when need it. The hotel manager is very nice to change my reserved room from smoking (not realized when reserving thru [...]) to non-smoking room. They are very friendly. However, smoking rooms are opposite from the non-smoking room. The whole hall way smells like smoke. Besides that, my family including the 2 yr old have a great stay.

It was smelly, but was probably right for the price. However, it had broken hairdryer, but the motel took no action (it was a bad luck of the draw for our family). Breakfast was poor, but free, although not healthy for the family. Rooms were not soundproof.

Front desk associate was not too enthusiastic about her job to start with, but ov erall wasn't the worst place I'v e stayed in. Rooms are outdated and smoking rooms adjacent to non-smoking rooms made the already musty air worse. Add the less than appealing free breakfast and you certainly understand that you get what you pay for.
