Days Inn East Stroudsburg

Spent a night in the hotel. The pool was warm, which was good, since it was cool outside. Nice front desk, nice room.

The staff was friendly and met any requests with smiles and courtesy. The motel is connected to a Mexican restaurant and they correctly assumed we, as seniors, would not be interested in the night life of the restaurant. So they assigned us a room on the other side of the building and we didn't hear a thing. It was quiet, we had a fridge and microwave and the room was kept very clean.

We have been traveling to the Poconos for the past eleven years and this hotel and its location are very conveniently located. The access to the interstate is quick for trips to New Jersey and New York City. Movie Theaters, Restaurants, shopping malls and other attractions are within a ten mile radius. The Hotel staff was attentive, courteous and available. The cable options include football network channel-important for football fans in the fall!

The Days Inn had a very friendly staff, but is a very tired hotel. The room was neat and the bed was fairly comfortable, but the place seemed a little dirty to me The complimentary breakfast was so minimal that I avoided it and went to a nice diner a little way up the street. I was there for my college homecoming so I didn't expect much. It was ok for what i paid for it.

Room was clean and the staff was very courteous. Even moved my room away from the restaurant/club knowing I needed a good night's rest!

i booked a room in stroudsberg. When I got there they told me I was booked in tannersburg. Well when I got to Tannersburd they told me I was booked in Stroudsburg.. I guess they think it's ok for me to drive back and forth

I made the reservation last minute and I arrived much later than I expected and feared I would lose my reservation. Well none of that the staff was great, the room perfect, I would definitely stay again. Plus the location is great close to everything. :)

The rooms were well kept and had good space. They had plenty of towels. The room was much need since we did not have electric or water at home due to the hurrican.

Our only problem was that we had been booked in a "handicap room" . When we told them we did not need that room and did not want to keep it (as we thought it should be saved for someone who actually did need it) we were moved to a 2 "double bed"room and we had asked for a Queen room. We were told that no queen beed rooms were available.

went to the hotel. Got there early and the room was not ready. Decided to go for something to eat and return to the hotel later. While I was on my way to eat (with my 2 daughters) received a call from home that there was an emergency. I therefore, unfortunately, had to turn right around and head home. I called the hotel who was not at all helpful or sympathetic to my situtation and they would not refund the $109.00 I paid for the room. Emergencies do happen and I cannot understand why they took such a negative attitude. I am a 79 year old woman, not a kid who made up some story. I am very, very dissatisfied with the way this was handled. [...]
