Motel 6 Pittsburgh Airport

Advertisment for hotel stated there were microwaves and fridges in rooms. When we checked in, we found none. The hallway had an awful smell that thankfully did not perment the room. The room was clean and excellent water pressure and lots of hot water. The price was nice for it being only 10 mins. from Pittsburgh Airport. No fast food close by, we drove almost 30 mins to find one. Mostly business area. Hotel has also been bought and now has new owners.The door that was used from the side parking lot was only supposed to be open from the outside by scanning your room card, we found that the door did not even have a locking mechanism in it!! Not good security.New owners had no idea how to do a checkin with a reservation from [...] It took almost 20 minutes to check in.

Arrived late in need of a good rest for a long day of travel the next day. There was no Internet available. No shampoo or mouth wash were provided and the mattress on one of the beds had something very wrong with it. Sleep was elusive and I was not rested for travel. The desk person when we checked in was very friendly and helpful in finding a place to eat and providing directions for getting to the airport the next day. The location was good and easy to reach and the cost of the room was very reasonable.

You get what you pay for and I needed something cheap and close to where I had to go. The staff is friendly but the hotel itself is not that nice. But it served my purpose.

was in town for Pitt homecoming and business--the room served its purpose for me --would not stay with a family, but for just one person it was good! staff was very helpful.

Its a motel 6, not super nice, not super clean, but it is nice and it is clean. Just know if you expect a Radison, this is not what your going to get. Though if you want a nice room for a night and cheap hit this place up.

The staff was friendly and upon entering the room it appeared clean. However on my last evening I encountered several bed bugs! Needless to say I was horrified. So while checking under the mattress for more, I discovered that the boxspring had what appeared to be blood stains on it?! My sheets also had hairs that were obviously not mine. The TV was antiquated but worked fine. Overall, I would spend a little more and get a better(cleaner) hotel.

Went there for Steelers vs Charger game. Decided to stay 15 miles away. Distance wasn't bad to get to the stadium or city, fairly easy trip. Motel was cheapest I found and I wasn't expecting the Hilton or nothing but this was pretty bad. First off the floors were filthy, old cigerette packs left under the bed among other old items and dirt. This wasn't just in the middle under the bed, I am talking about around the outter edges. Places easily cleanable. The mattress's were covered in huge stains from who knows what. And its not like we took of the sheet to inspect it, you could easily see the stains on the sides as well as through the white sheets. The last thing that made me mad was in the morning we were rudely woken up by the maid who wanted to clean the room. ( That's a joke in itself ) But I told her we had until noon to check out and to leave us alone. She told us the motel had us down as staying multiple nights when we were only staying one. Prolly not really her fault but she was the one who was disturbing me, not to mention the filth of the room, but yet she waking me up to try to clean. Anyway, I had to get rude and told her to go the F away. Pittsburgh is a awesome city and I have stayed in some nice clean Motel 6's before but this was not one of them. I would spend a few more $$ next time. Do not stay in this hotel unless you are an opposing team's fan. Then by all means , STAY THERE. ;)

Great priced hotel room. Was not looking for anything special. It was quiet, clean and the staff was friendly.

The location is good. The room is so clear, but the amentries are not enough.
