Crowne Plaza PITTSBURGH-INTL AIRPORT

For the price of the hotel, you'd think you'd get a lot more bang for your buck, but not so much. Had to book the hotel for a business trip. Will consider another hotel next time.

1st night they gave me a room that was already occupied. Next day they never cleaned my room. 3rd night my key didn't work & had to go back down the the desk again and have them reactivate my key. Room was worth $100 max!! Will never stay there again.

It was perfect because the bar had the Steeler-Ravens game and a nice crowd. The food was good and the rooms were clean. The staff was very helpful especially the man who helped me dig my car out of the snow when I returned from my trip!

Crowne Plaza Hotel is a nice hotel, I dont see any issues. it is located near airport. Downtown is 35 mins drive. But they are not offering complimentry brake fast

The hotel was okay. I know that other reviewers gave the hotel 4 or 5 stars and that is one reason that I chose this one. However, I would just give it 3 stars and no more. One night we ate at the italian restaurant just off of the lobby. TERRIBLE!. I am not a picky eater but my pork chop (reccomended by the waitress) was burned so badly that it had a crust. My wife ordered shrimp scampi and all they brought her was a bowl with 5 shrimp - no pasta. The waitress was nice and accomodated our requests and they eventually brought her a bowl of angel hair pasta. I would not stay here again.

They have a nice lounge/bar area, they even had a dj one night.

Stayed for a Steelers game for the weekend. The staff was very helpful with directions and everyone was very nice. We ate at the bar 2 nights and thought the food was VERY good! The bartender was great and made great drinks too. The breakfast buffet was not the best I have ever had, but the fresh made omelets were wonderful. The rooms were very quiet and quite nice. There were a few cleanliness issues, but nothing major -- there was a small stain on the comforter and there were a few hairs in the tub. For the age of the hotel, it has been kept up VERY well. They must have recently did a remodel.

Selected this hotel as the luncheon I was attending was being held at this hotel. Staff was friendly (check-in, shuttle bus, restaurant and cleaning). Rooms were old and a bit outdated but clean and comfortable.

We stayed at the Crowne Plaza this past week for one night. We were in the area for a quick getaway and to do some shopping. We had stayed at this hotel before (approx.4 years ago) and enjoyed that stay so we didn't hesitate to book it again. This time around though, we weren't quite as impressed. The check-in was pretty smooth and fast. The check-in staff was friendly and helpful. The room overall was okay. I had a read on their website that the room would have a refrigerator in it but we were disappointed to see that it did not. We probably should have called the front desk to inquire about it but we decided that it probably was not that big of a deal. The biggest issue that we had was with the bathroom. There was some mold along part of the tile in the shower. It also had somewhat of a sour smell in the shower. The whole bathroom just really needed a thorough cleaning. The main part of the room was fairly clean and comfortable. The furnishings are starting to look a little worn but still okay. All and all, it was not a bad place to stay but could use some improvements. We would probably stay again if we got a really good deal on it.

I was just in town for two nights on a business trip and needed a hotel near the airport. The Crowne Plaza was an excellent choice for value and convenience. I would certainly stay there again under similar cirsumstances.
