Relaxing trip and nice room.
I had a good time visiting friends.And the room was nice and clean.I would recommend the Red Carpet Inn to any of my friends traveling to Chambersburg,PA.They have reasonable prices.

Good enough
The room was not inexpensive, but all the amenities were on the cheap. For example, the tv had basic cable, but there were no listings, so you had to keep switching to the TV guide channel. The room had a hairdryer, but not a very good one. Ditto on the iron. Very disappointing breakfast for the money. I think that the room was overpriced by a full third. The manager was very nice though.

Not Bad
Good room for a good price. Requested a smoke free room and had the only room without a no smoking sign on the door. Smell was not over powering but some clothes that were left on the floor now smell like smoke. That was the only negative that was found though.

very clean and friendly associates
With out hesitation in fact ask me if it was ok to clean room now. I had come back to drop our dog off but room had not been cleaned yet.

Great value
We stayed at this resort to go to the Whitetail Ski Resort. The hotel was nice given the fact that we didn't spend the majority of our time in the room. The hotel is brand new so there were no issues with anything being run down or old so thats a plus. Overall nice clean place to stay for the night.

There is a Bob Evans restaurant literally in the next parking lot over and a Cracker Barrel across the street. Down the street (less than a mile away) Red Lobster, Giant Supermarket, applebees and several others.

Was told there would be coffee pot in room. None there. Was told continental breakfast. None there. Carpet dirty. Room was musty smelling.
