Motel 6!? This time it was a Motel 4.5.
I have stayed at this very hotel in the past. In the past it was a very good experience. The rooms are well appointed for a Motel 6. They have hair dryers and refrigerators, and the room was very spacious and clean too. I wish I could say the same about this latest trip. The toilet seat was broken and propped. The tissue dispenser was empty. The bathroom exhaust fan was loud enough to be annoying, our room had a hole in the sheetrock which was an eyesore, and the facility had an overall run-down appearance everywhere you looked. All in all, the beds were comfortable though. The price was entirely too high for the quality product that they offered, and we saw closer hotels to the Carlisle Fairgrounds that were advertising cheaper prices. Motel 6 let me down this time.

Both the Waffle House and Middlesex Diner are very close-by and both have great cheap eats.

Not your typical Motel 6
Stayed here at Chrysler Nationals at Carlisle. Upscale Motel 6- was formerly a Holiday Inn. Nice decor, carpet and bathroom

unbeatable locatiion for the price
Room was very clean but there wasn't a clock in the room. The out side needed clean up. But staff was very nice & helpful.

Overall a decent location a bit pricey but made the reservation late.Would've liked to have seen a microwave in our room.Compared to other rooms no extra toilet paper and no tissues at all.Bad Economy?

Staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. Room was spotless and in perfect repair. Highly recommended for a stay in Carlisle.

Traveling Gearhead
OK room for the price
The motel is close to the Carlisle Fairgrounds. The rate was about double because of the event going on. I was able to get a reservation only four weeks prior. The interchange for 81 is close by so you can avoid traffic to get to other parts of Carlisle.
