About what you'd expect
Staff was helpful and extremely friendly. Room left...a lot to be desired. It had a functional shower, AC unit, barely functional TV (looked to be from about 1992) and a stiff bed. The room absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke (despite being a non-smoking room). Spoke with the front desk and they said "many people just ignore the non-smoking requirement" and offered to change my room. Parking was fine and about 2 miles from downtown Carlisle which was perfect. If you're just looking for a bed to fall into in Carlisle, it's fine for the $70 price of admission.

Good
Room was clean and tidy. Would stay there again. Bed was comfortable. Was in a good location. Did not like that to get wifi had to pay extra, when others give this amenity with room. Overall would stay there again overnite.

Good find
I needed a place to overnight on a business trip. For the $$, I got a cleaner and bigger room than expected. It's not the most modern place, and not much for amenities, but the water was hot and the towels and sheets were clean! I'd go there again!

VERY GOOD for it's price.
I booked a room to sleep for the night but I was hesitant to check in at first. However, the staff is very friendly and the rooms are surprisingly clean! The only issue I had with was the room odors. Fix that and it would have been a perfect night.

Get what you pay for.
Large room. Clean but old. Very noisey area, heard trucks driving by all night. But the beds were comfortable. I would stay there again. We were just staying the night on the to pick up my brother at a camp.

Got what we paid for
When I made this reservation, I knew it would not be an above average experience. The price is low, so I anticipated a lower quality experience. On the plus side, the room was adequate in size for our family of 3, it was quiet and the pool was clean. On the negative side, although we got a non smoking room, there was still an odor. It may have been the maid service who had a cigerette dangling out of her mouth the entire time she went in and out of rooms. No smoking means no smoking at all, in my opinion. The rug was thread bare, and the towels barely covered my skinny 13 year old let alone my 6'5" husband. I urge people to bring their own towels. While the pool was clean, the deck area was poorly maintained as far as ordinary clean up is concerned and there were tiles missing along the side of the pool. Gave an otherwise nice looking pool a shabby look. Also, while the sign stated no alcohol and no kids without adult supervision there were women at the pool drinking and 5 kids under the age of 11 or so who pretty much dominated the entire pool for hours with roughhousing and no supervision at all. I would have thought the staff would have cautioned the parents to control the children and supervise them. We came for a weekend at Hershey Park, but honestly the drive was too long. About a half an hour each way. Made it a waste to come and go for rest periods and meals. In the future I will pay a little more for a hotel nearer our actual activity. What I saved in hotel costs, I used in gas.
