Awesome place!

This place was awesome, the room was nice. Everything worked. The tv cable was blurry on some channels. Breakfast was above what I would have expected. Lock box in room. A con-would be that it was a smoking room, simply booked because it was cheaper, about $10. Shower was low, AWESOME for me because I'm a shortie.

Three night stay, clean, great valus

Went to family reunion in Carlisle. Because of Truck show many hotels were booked. Stayed at the Economy because of price and availability and a couple of favorable reviews [...]. We were pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We chose rooms on the back of the building away from Rte 11 and there was no traffic noise. No noise from adjacent rooms either. 92 yr old mother-in law was given ground floor handicap accessable room adjacent to us which she loved. Rooms were clean and recently renovated. AC unit in our room was new digital control and was quiet. Breakfast was continental but very basic, - english muffins, bagels, fruit, cereal. On Sunday there were some egg patties and sausage. Coffee and juice was available. Want a really good breakfast, go out.For the price, our experience was excellent. Cable tv with no ESPN but most other. Had to watch Sunday night baseball game on wireless internet which worked well.

Better off sleeping in your car

This place got decent reviews so I decided to give it a try. The management is rude and shady I get there and the guy tells me I only booked for 1 person I need to pay $10 each additional person, so I had to fight that I paid for 1 extra person then they tried double charging me the next morning when I checked out. [...] On to the room...the a/c barely works we put it on the coldest setting and 6 hours later it was barely comfortable, the bathroom was dirty black mold is growing on the walls, long hair (not ours) was found on the floor, the towels were stained, the room itself smelled funny like damp carpet, the lobby bathroom forget it that wasn't any better it looked trashed I would rather pee in a porta-potty. This place is a DUMP, if I could give it 0 stars I would have.

A little sketchy

The hotel had supposedly been renovated. There was a new carpet but rooms needed to be repainted, the light bulbs were out, the toilet ran, and the fan from the air conditioner was extremely noisy. When we arrived, after struggling to find the hotel - it was listed in a different location and did not have an up to date phone number listed (I actually called Orbitz to get their number since I hadn't written it down.) - the power in the room had been off and neither the a/c nor the fan had been run to get rid of the stale air. The mattresses looked new but the linens looked thin and were certainly not crisp. Some of the pillow cases had stains. We didn't partake of the "continental breakfast" but it was basically dry cereal, coffee and juice.

If you stay in any of the hotels in Carlisle by the two main highways, drive to the historic end of town which has some charming restaurants.
