Best Days Inn I've ever stayed at.
Clean, without smelling of disinfectant. Courteous and friendly staff! Near relevant freeway exits and other amenities. And also near some of PA's best spring creeks for flyfishing!

Good basic hotel option
Have stayed at this hotel on several occasions when needing to be in the Carlisle area. Basic no-frills option on the other side of town from the busier "hotel and trucker alley." Could have maybe found another option on that side of town, but we just hate all that trucker traffic. Continental breakfast in the mornings. Only quibble is that the beds are obviously past their prime and definitely need to be replaced. They were not comfortable at all. Otherwise this hotel remains a good option for overnight stay.

Pizza Grille on High Street just past Orange...Very nice menu with patio dining in warm weather. Also really good option for Asian is Isseii noodle shop on High and Pitt. Brand new is Helena's, a pastry shop a couple of doors down from Issei on High. I had the best cup of hot chocolate in my life there - (Belgian chocolate with cream/milk mixed with a bit of brown sugar)

Great Value
Overall, very good value and very satisfied. Staff was friendly, room was clean and all needs were met. Cold, hard boiled eggs seemed a little strange for breakfast but got the job done. Have paid more at other hotels but gotten less. Would definitely stay again if in the area. Only 33 miles to Hershey PA car show and swap meet.

“Excellent Motel” I have to say that this place is excellent in every way but one. I went to the lounge and was met by the most ignorant, lazy, snotty bartender I have ever met in my life. She was self absorbed in her own aches and pains and was asking most… everyone to do her job for her, from handing drinks to other people to getting supplies for her. I hate to say it but I will not stay there again strictly because of her. As I said before, the place itself and the rest of the personal were excellent

Very convenient to Dickinson!
Stayed for a night on a college visit. Was very accessible to food, shopping and Dickinson college. Staff friendly and helpful, changing room to the back of hotel for less road noise; room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was actually good, including a do-it-yourself waffle machine. Shower was fine but beds a bit more firm than I like. Overall a good hotel.

Friendly, Clean and Affordable
We stayed for a quick overnight in order to visit family in Carlisle. We chose the Days Inn because it was one of the best deals in the area - and we are quite pleased that we did. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and well maintained, which made their dated decor charming (and not tacky). Parking was available immediately outside of the entrance to our corridor - and was bright and safe. They also offer a complimentary continental breakfast - which smelled and looked wonderful, although we were not able to partake due to our plans. Overall, a great place to stay for the night. I would stay here again over any of the other hotels in the area. The location is ideal and there are a handful of restaurants a short walk, or even shorter drive away.

The Days Inn offers discounts at many of the restaurants in the area, by simply showing your room key. Also, upon check-in we were given buy 1 get 1 free coupons for drinks in the lounge and coupons for discounted appetizers as well - which gives many opportunities for inexpensive dining.
