Super 8 Butler

We were really disappointed in the condition of our room. No towels, hair in the tub, housekeeping was really lacking. I was fairly sure the sheets were probably not changed either! I didn't even let them in the room the next day, as I was afraid they would retaliate if I complained. They were very unprofessional arguing in the hall and discussing customers. As a former housekeeper, I was appalled! Super 8 is in a good location, but when we return next month we will NOT be staying there!

I will not go back to this hotel. The location was ok, but the rooms are not very clean and they're smelly. They smell like smoke, even though it wasn't labeled a smoking room. Not sure when the room was last vacuumed thoroughly. The halls are not air conditioned and it's just hot, stagnant air throughout the community areas of the building. I couldn't bring myself to take a shower in the bathroom in the morning. Got up at 6:00 AM and hit the road.

[...] If money is the bottom line for you, and you don't need shampoo in the bathroom or more than a bowl of cereal for breakfast, then stay here. Otherwise, pay the extra 20 bucks and stay at a newer hotel.

I was in Butler alone to go to my daughter's regatta. The room was clean and smelled fine. The motel was fairly empty but someone decided to knock things around at 2-3 am on the floor above me. The breakfast was plain. The staff was very nice and put breakfast out early for me. The price was terrific.

Since I was there to visit friends & family, my hotel stay was just for rest & cleaning up. It was nice & quiet. My view (which I didn't need/use) was of the steel mill. The staff was very nice, friendly, and accomodating. The free continental breakfast consisted of bread that you could toast, a muffin or two, and coffee & tea. I recommend getting your food at a nearby restaurant. Our room didn't receive maid service one day.

I had a comfortable stay but left something at the front desk at check out. I called and the lady was very kind to have it shipped to me the next day.

Average Hotel, just the basics in the room. But probably $40 cheaper than any other hotel in the area so worth it for a short stay.

This Super 8 is adjacent to an industrial area. It provides basic, decent lodging at a reasonable cost and no amenities. It is convenient to most parts of the small town of Butler, PA and convenient access to Route 8 to Pittsburgh.

Things are still being worked on. No noise but patches here and there and obvious work in progress. Staff was friendly. Room was average size. Shortage of outlets for recharging cell phones, laptops, etc. Only problem is theircomplimentary 'breakfast'. was the most It was the most limited I have ever seen. ..bread for toasting, butter & Jam, MINI sweet rolls. No creamer for the coffee only powdered stuff.

Room was clean,but within eye site of a steel mill and very close to a major highway and heavy traffic. If this Motel was in a little better location it would be a better value.
