Alright for the price.
I had the worst bed I ever had at this hotel. Have stayed there previously before and not bad rooms for price but the mattress really needed to be replaced. Was loud and was waiting for a spring to pop through.

Penn State Family Day Visit
We have stayed in this hotel before on football weekends. Nothing special, but always clean and reasonably priced. About 30 minutes from State College and right off of Rt 322.

A Place To Stay
Pretty much what one would expect of a Super 8. A little pricier than I'd have liked, but it was a weekend, and Penn State had a game that weekend, so it was cheaper than most of the other places in the area. Overall, nothing special, but it was good enough for a one night stay.

Good value for business travelers
It's a basic, budget hotel -- not fancy, but you get good value for your money. It's clean, quiet and comfortable, the front desk staff is very friendly and helpful, there's plenty of free parking and it's convenient to major roadways. Next time I need to go back to the area, I'll have no problem staying there again.

Better than expected
The management here cares about their business. My room was fairly large and very clean. The guest guide was very helpful and well done.

Glorious Display of Fall Leaves
This hotel was a nice quiet place to spend the evening. It was extremely clean and the rooms were designed just right. It was not elaborate, but the furniture was very nice. The bed was very comfortable. The entrance is a little odd, it's a little hidden, but no big deal. If you come in late as we did, we had to park a distance from the entrance and it was raining. It's just an exit off Rt 322 and out in the country, so if you don't want a lot of business's around, this hotel is for you. The breakfast wasn't much, but we got plenty to eat. They ran out of spoons, so you might want to take your own. They only had cereal, toast, english muffins, donuts, pastries and muffins. I do wish they would have had some fruit. We've never stayed at a Super 8 before and I guess you can't expect to have any luxuries. All in all, we were very satisfied. The check in/out persons were friendly and the place was very clean. I didn't see anything that needed fixed as you do in so many hotels. I would stay there again if in the area.

DON'T BOOK THROUGH ORBITZ.COM not cheap
Motel 8 was nice, the maid was excellent, she gave us more pillows that we had requested. We had asked the front desk for the pillows and they said we couldn't have them. We paid $50.00 more for the hotel booking through Orbitz.com, had we called the motel it would have been much cheeper.I WILL NEVER BOOK THROUGH ORBITZ.COM AGAIN, THEY REFUSED TO GIVE ME A REFUND EVEN THOUGH I SENT THEM MY RECEIPT SHOWING THE $50.00 DIFFERENCE.

Clean, quiet place to sleep
There are a couple of fast food restaurants nearby, but nothing within walking distance. It is quiet and quite clean, but the entrance is a steep grade that, in winter months, can be slippery. We were there in Decemeber during an ice storm and the parking lot was salted, but not in very good shape. All the icy slush came down the graded entrance and sloshed into the parking lot. Other than that, it's your typical Super 8. I would say once more that it is probably the cleanest Super 8, though. I really liked that they had a paper towel dispenser near the sink. That was useful.

Shopping tip:
Long walk from hotel
The hotel next door has a night restaurant that serves good food. If you want to make a short drive, go up to the next exit, back track one mile to the right and try the fish and chips. Whoo Baby! And the haddock salad with the fish dressing is outrageously good!
