An excellent weekend stay
Ken Jun 27, 2009
I attended a weekend musicfest at the Zoellner Arts center at Lehigh University. It was a pleasure having their shuttle drop ... me off at the theatre both Saturday and Sunday mornings. The hotel was everything I expected: a historic hotel, wonderful lobby/bar area, very comfortable, top-notch service.

Superior Location

We've stayed at this hotel a few times, since we annually travel to Bethlehem. Its usually great, rooms are a bit small, but ... stylish and clean. This was the first stay however, where we didn't have any hot water one morning.

Anniversary Get-away
Lauryn Jun 22, 2009
Hotel was very busy as it is a prime spot for weddings in the area (and our floor was very loud to do all the weddind ... guests). The reception at the hotel was wonderful, very friendly. The room was very clean and kept at a good temperature. Bathroom was gorgeous. The noise from the room was pretty bad, could hear our rowdy neighbors and the ice maker being used down the hall way at all hours. The Tap Room was amazing, the chesseburger was wonderful. The elevator situation, however, was less then amazing. There are only two for the entire hotel (or at least for the guests) and the steps past the 3rd floor must be hidden since we had no luck finding them. At least there were chairs by the elevator for our 10 minute wait until the moving box met us on our floor (we stayed on the 7th floor). But besides the elevator chaos, my husband I enjoyed our stay and with the great location and friendly staff we will be sure to return again in the future.

The hotel Bethlehem a very family friendly and pet friendly hotel, the standard room is little small, but has every thing we ... need. The King suite(on 9th floor)is huge, has a best view during day and night time, every night we can see Moravian star on top of the hill. The hotel offers free shultter service, free parking, free internet servie and a free tour around the area. Sunday Brunch in 1741 on the Terrace was wonderful. Good location, easy to get on the high way.one or two blocks to the stores and restaurants.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in this hotel with beautiful furnishings and a marble bathroom. The room was smaller than ... most of the chain hotels, but the old style and decor were enjoyable for our short stay.

Comfortable and Convenient
Mark Mar 17, 2008
The Historic Hotel Bethlehem was comfortable and clean. The rooms were an adequate size and were quiet. The only negative ... thing we found was the bathroom. The bathroom was small and the water pressure in the shower was very low. We enjoyed our stay there and would return.

What a treasure. This is a historic hotel and I loved learning about its history. The room was exquisite. Marble bathroom ... with an oversized showerhead. Very comfortable bed and all the TV stations you could want. Prompt and courteous service. Fabulous Sunday brunch with background pianist. Just a very lovely, charming hotel. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

Perfect Location

We stayed in the HOtel Bethlehem during Musicfest, and it was perfect. Free parking was valuable, check in was a breeze, ... lovely dining area and lounge downstairs. Would be nice if every floor had ice, but this is a small thing; we frankly weren't in the room all that much. Lovely old hotel with charm and history.

Right in the middle of everything, walk to everything for Musicfest, located on the main street which is blocked off. Should visit the Moravain bookstore across the street and have lunch there; yummy!

Felt underdressed just to walk through the lobby
Michelle Jul 15, 2007
At first I thought I had the wrong place, it looked very ritzy w/ the bellhops in their uniforms stopping me in the parking ... lot to make sure I belonged there. I felt very underdressed just walking through the lobby to the front desk to check in. Room was smaller than most hotels but quite clean. Carpet looked rather worn. Bathroom was so tiny the toilet paper was on the opposite wall of the bathroom from the toilet & still could be easily reached. Not for the claustrophobic. Also they only had a small stand up shower, no tub. Bathroom did look rather fancy w/ the marble. There was no pool. Overall I would stay there again. My main thing is cleanliness and the room was rather neat.

A rather short walk from the hotel is the Bethlehem Brew Works. Food was excellent & reasonably priced. Also near the restaurant was a bunch of little shops that were quite interesting to walk through.
