Meeting facilities
- Meeting Info
- The Historic Bethlehem Hotel is equipped with nine meeting rooms totaling more than 15,000 square feet of space. *The Grand Ballroom On the Mezzanine Beautiful balconies and four large arched mirrors make the magnificent Grand Ballroom one of the most exquisite grand banquet rooms in the Lehigh Valley. *The Mural Ballroom Seven large murals, painted by George Gray, retell the history of Bethlehem. In particular, the story of how Count Zinzendorf and other early settlers met on Christmas Eve in 1741 in a crude cabin on the site now occupied by the hotel, and named the city of Bethlehem, emblazons an entire wall. Seats up to 190.
Dining
- 1741 on the Terrace
- It is the desire of 1741 on the Terrace to engage you and invite you. Try something new or revisit something familiar but above all -- enjoy. Relax in the ambiance of the room - the beautiful Moravian tile floor and soaring Palladian windows. Admire the charming downtown of Bethlehem with buildings and history dating back to 1741 when the town itself was founded. The menu offers New American cuisine while the food showcases the flavors of the ingredients and the skills of the hands preparing them. In addition to our ala carte menu, the Tasting Menu features smaller portions of a three course dinner allowing you to try a variety of dishes for a fixed price of $30.
- Musical Sunday Brunch
- Sunday's Musical Brunch combines live music with a splendid buffet array. A holiday tradition for many has become a weekly habit for others. The robust buffet is complemented by live musicians featuring harpsichord, harp, piano, jazz duos or even bagpipes for our Celtic Brunch. Whether you desire made-to-order omelets or waffles, the carving station of roasted meats, fresh seafood or luscious desserts, there is something for everyone.

- Room Service is available 24 hours a day.
- The Tap Room
- Casually elegant, the Tap Room offers the most sought after view of Historic Main Street and its Victorian charm. Lounge by the vintage mahogany bar, in an atmosphere evoking the Jazz Age, while sipping one of our Signature Martinis. Enjoy all day dining overlooking the heart of Bethlehem's historic district. Live jazz performances add to the 1920's atmosphere. Friday Happy Hour with live musicians enliven those who join us for cocktails or dinner

Perfect romantic getaway
We were upgraded from a regular queen room to a corner King suite ~ amazing! We loved the interior decor, the bed was comfy, nice flat screen tvs, and beautiful bathrooms. I think the price we paid for what we got was a great value, and I'm thankful for the upgrade. We had an amazing time in Bethlehem and having a great hotel room definitely contributed to our trip.

Check out the Bookstore speakeasy, well worth your time. On the expensive side, but worth it! Definitely order some cocktails too. Burger and crab cake with scallops and shrimp were delicious.

Snowy getaway
My boyfriend and I already had a weekend getaway planned at the Hotel Bethlehem when we noticed that the weather report was calling for snow. We decided to go despite the weather and had an amazing time! I highly recommend staying at this hotel -- the rooms are cozy and the staff is excellent.

Historic Indeed
I normally don't write reviews. After taking a chance with few bad ones, I wanted to share my experience. The Historic Hotel Bethlehem was clean, regal and service was great - minus a bartender that wasn't particularly attentive. I would definitely stay again.

Hotel was ok
The hotel was ok because it needed more air conditioning throughout. The food and service was very good - they have excellent scallops and filet mignon. The staff was nice and the plus was it is pet friendly. Sands Casino is nearby and worth going to check out. Overall, it is a very quiet and peaceful town.

Wedding
The hotel itself is nicely decorated and we found to be neat and orderly. The major problem is the noise. First, when my husband and I were in the room I thought the window was open which I found strange since we were on the fifth floor. We were both surprised when we checked and it was closed. The street noise sounded so clear. The windows are definately not sound proof. There were at least two wedding receptions that were at the hotel that evening, weddings guests continued on until past 3 A.M. and were talking and laughing right outside our door. Needless to say we did not sleep well and the hotel definately doesn't police the noise. I thought the hotel was pricey for the couple hours of sleep I actually got. If I had been able to sleep I may have better review to give.

Classy Place
Beautiful building, be sure to explore the balconies and ballrooms. Lotsa historic photos on the walls. We had one problem with a miscommunicated breakfast order and no time to eat it. They sent a beautiful wine and cheese tray to our room with an apology. Thats classy!

hotel was gorgeous but the room itself and the bathroom were tiny. Spend a little more and get a suite unless you dont mind bumping into eachother all day!
