Extended Stay America - Allentown - Bethlehem

One night business trip. You get what they advertise. First-timer in an ESA. Not the right choice for my requirements. My bust. Location was good. Hotel not set up for business traveler. Internet not included and no breakfast.

Going to Beckys drive in theatre and a day at Dorney Park, traveling with one teen and one pre-teen, I had decided to make my life easier and get a local hotel room. Sadly, I'd requested non-smoking and was told at 5 pm check in that there were no other rooms left (booked solid) and they could not honor that comittiment. The clerk did, however, give me a bottle of febreeze and thank god she did…the room smelled horrible! This was not a good start. Next, the room was quite spartan. No soap, no shampoos, minimum towels and washcloths. For a new hotel - the room looked quite used with furnishing of a lesser quality than what I'm accustomed to. (And I must say, I'm not a snob…they could do better going to Ikea) Additionally, they advertise lots of "working space" for extended stay guests and while the room was spacious…there was no "work" space. I won't stay here again, for sure. Perhaps it's a fine deal for a someone, but it was not for us.

I was there only one night, but it felt comfortable to the point where I felt as if I was in my own home. The kitchen in the room was very convinient in that we were able to cook ourselves dinner in the fact that dishes silverware and cooking utilities such as pans and a functional stove were already provided. We had a very quit restful night with no interuptions. the bed was a little to firm for me and my partners liking and there werent enough pillows, but those are personal prefferences. Overall we had an enjoyable night waking up relaxed in the morning.

We stayed here for one night in August 2010. Although we reserved a room with two beds, the hotel manager stated that instead we had received a room with one king bed, because we didn't book directly with the hotel, but rather through [...], thus the room we selected was not guaranteed. However, we had 4 guests and could not all stay in one room. The hotel staff was gracious enough to let us occupy two rooms, at no extra charge. Although we did not stay at the hotel for too long, the staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, each room had a kitchenette. Nothing fancy, but good for the price. I probably would not stay here for more than 2 nights, but if you just need a place to stay overnight, this will do.

Nice folks, execellent location, very good price on asuite that includes full size fridge, stove, microwave, dishes. Great value.

Quiet, restful, conviently located.

Just needed a place for one night and wanted to be close to the airport for an early flight the next day. Theres a convienience store next to the hotel for any supplies and an ATM, but only restaurant is a Burger King across the street (within walking distance). I had taken a taxi here. Hotel was ok but I wouldnt go back. The worst part was the bathroom sink that was clogged up.

If you are staying for less than a week you do not get maid service. You can exchange your towels ect. at the front desk. I actually like that someone will not be coming in my room when I am not there. The front desk people were friendly and helpful.

Very accomodating hotel, great price, great location. very pleased overall. Just would have preferred no charge for internet, but they waived it for me!!
