Had a good weekend
Overall the experience was good, great location for us, but there were a few hiccups! *A problem opening the room door caused a small laceration on my hand. *The sink drain was missing the stopper. *Ice machine out of order, had to go to second floor for ice at the opposite end of the wing. *The in room coffee is not that great and the lobby coffee was stronger but bitter. * Fortunately Dunkin Donuts was next door.

Husband Birthday Getaway
Me and my husband stayed here for his birthday weekend. I had already checked in hours before so I could decorate the room before we arrived. I asked the staff to help me pretend like I didn't check in and they was awesome. He was very surpised. The rooms and bed was wonderful. There are so many restaurants to choose from near by also the casino is a short drive as well. I can't wait to stay here again.

The smoky smokey disgusting hotel
The location is great. It's next to Sesame Place, but like all the other travelers, our room stank like cigarettes. The entire hallway including their 'non-smoking' room smelled like smoke. The place had very questionable stains on the carpets, visible damages to the doors and furnitures, while there were huge hairballs in the bath tubs. When we voiced our concerns to the 'management', they told us nothing could be changed. We'd have better luck screaming into the pillow. Avoid this place like the plague. The pictures on the web site are taken by their management, so is not truly reflective of how their aged rooms and facilities look (a big chunk of their 'hotel' is inaccessible via elevator, and stairs was the only access to it, that's how dated it is).

Short drive from hotel
It's close to Sesame Place, that's probably the only draw to this place.

Nice, clean hotel for a Sesame visit
We recently stayed here for our trip to Sesame Place. It was a very nice, clean hotel. The staff was very friendly, and very helpful. The only negative we had was the restaurant. The food was really not that great for dinners, and pricy too. HOwever, the quality of food will outweigh our good hotel experience and will most likely stay here when we come back in Oct!

You get what you pay for
Do not stay in room 101...its right by the laundry area, side entrance and pool entrance so the traffic surrounding your room is busy and noisy. The first day we arrived there was a terrible chemical smell that not only invaded the hallway but our room. It was concerning since we had 2 little kids with us. I asked the front desk about it and they had no clue where it was coming from. Thankfully it disappeared in a few hours. The next day we spent at Sesame Place and when we returned at 4pm for a nap the room still had not been cleaned. I asked for towels and they didn't have any available (needed more time for drying...guess it was a busy weekend). I ended up leaving the hotel with pink eye...kind of left a gross feeling about the place. I guess that's what you get for $100/night. Staff was nice and the pool was refreshing. Great location (only a few minutes to Sesame Place and about 20 to Phili).

if you're going to sesame place you can pack your own food or leave for lunch/dinner and go back. there are lots of places around the hotel to eat...MUCH cheaper then SP. also theres a Dunkin Donut right outside so really convinent for breakfast on the run.

Opt for another hotel
I called to change the date of check in which the hotel manager did, but did not tell me I would be charged to do so. I also asked about the pool and was not informed that it would be closed during our stay. Needless to say the kids were disappointed. Room was clean. Beds were like spring boards, so if you like something hard and springy then you'll love them. The turn lock did not work and the front desk sent the maintenance man who said that they never cut the opening correctly and nothing can be done about it! He even tried opening the door from the outside which rattled the door! He said it's not him; its the hotel and that they know about it! I spoke to the front desk personnel who told me that they were sorry and this was the first that they had heard about it. The part of the curtain used to close it was broken off and the maintenance man back to fix that. You can hear everything in the hallway from other rooms, so beware! We usually stay at Holiday Inns and this is by far the only terrible experience I have had with the hotel chain. I will not stay here ever again to visit Sesame Place. I think the hotel should make sure for security reasons to fix and make sure all the locks work on all of the doors.

Decent Stay
Our hotel experience was average. The room was clean and a bit chilly at first. But the heat system worked well and warmed the room up quickly. When we arrived the line at reception wasn't that long, but it took a long time to get through the first few people. I noticed that both of the individuals at the front desk had "trainee" on their badge. Perhaps this was the reason for the slow check in procedure? [...] All around the stay was average. No complaints.

Stayed briefly (one night). Fitness room not very good. Not much within walking distance except some so-so food options.
