Bensalem hotel close to casino, Sesame Place and downtown Philly

Comfortable, clean room
We were very satisfied with the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel, but it would have been nice to have a free breakfast buffet. Other people that were traveling with us stayed in two other area hotels and had a breakfast included for the same price or less. We did not.

Not What I Thought
we visited this hotel as a place to stay for our sesame place trip. it was a lil distance from the park. the first room they put us in had a foul mildewy odor and the toilet didnt work. they changed our room which was much better. However,when we went to the pool and got in it we were told by another hotel guest that the pool was dirty. there wasnt any signs posted at all which was very disgusting.

We were in Bensalem for my daughter"s wedding, and traveling with two grandchildren. We were assigned a very small room. The afternoon before the wedding we were given a larger room; but the toilet was extremely dirty. The room appeared as though it had been unused for some time. There was dust on furniture and rings in the toilet and dirt accumulated on the floor around the toilet. This hotel was not my usual Marriott experience.

Friendly Staff - Good Location - Value
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff to make our visit pleasant, with lots of help finding places to go. The Fitness Centre is the only weakness, the spa was out of action all week, and most of the equipement was broken or failing. Nevertheless it was good value for money and the breakfast excellent.

Casino Gal
Great getaway!
Room was clean and very comfortable. We don't often take a night trip for ourselves so this was a real treat. We hope to do this again in the next several months and will look for this hotel at our next destination.

Courtyard by Marriott Philadelphia Bensa
Less than welcoming reception and check in. Had to tell the employee my name three times and stood in a freezing cold entry way for way to long trying to check in. The room was clean and inviting but very tiny and there was way to much stuff cramed into a smallish room. Very noisy hallways all night long. Tryed to go to sleep around 12:30a.m. and was startled awake 4 or 5 times with what sounded like a party going on in the hallway. Morning staff was much more friendly and proffesional. Not horrible but far from the best hotel visit I have had.
