For the price it was ok. Front lobby and hallways all smelled like smoke. We had originally selected non-smoking on the internet but ended up with a smoking room and we had to talk them into changing us to a non-smoking room. The woman didn't make it easy and then a man come in and helped get it changed.

Our stay was less than 10 hours because we checked in late. I was happy that the hotel did not have a two night minimum since our needs were so brief. The only rooms available were smoking and we are not smokers but we didn't have a choice. I did not think it would be that big of a deal, however, everything in the room had a very heavy smoke smell including the pillows and bedding. If I ever end up with a smoking room again, I will take along a bottle of Fabreeze. Other than that the staff and place were fine.

General Comments
Women Clerk would not provide us a receipt! Not enough room to sit or stand to get something toi eat. Directions off Rt I-99 to motel would have helped us finding better. Also, GPS located it at other end of Fairview Dr Charge for safe, even though do not use it. They make their money back in a year?

Get a free attractioins booklet with Altoona city map to find way around town. We had a map, but did not show the many one-way roads we came across. Motel to print and distribute?

nice motel
room was clean and had fridge and microwave. staff was friendly and helpful. Only thing i didn't like is you cannot change the reservation once it is made for some types of reservations so i ended up paying for two nights but only staying one

Great price & location
We were in the area for a bowling tournament and found this hotel to be perfect for our needs for the weekend. Great price, great location and friendly service!

Great for the price
I wasn't looking for much just a place that's clean and quiet to stay for the night and more importantly that's cheap. Super 8 fits. I definitely appreciate the free wifi.
