Great Bang for the the Buck

I recently stayed at this hotel and although it is the most modestly priced hotel in the area, they offered a great nights stay, comfortable beds and Amazing customer service. They are conveniently located between Altoona and state college, giving you a wide variety of places to eat and entertain for an evening. they offer a stay as nice as any of the other high priced places in the area with a better location. Great if your just passing through or in town to see family

Entertainment tip: Short drive from hotel

Delgrossos is a small water/theme park located just one exit up from the hotel, great place to bring the kids and have a fantastic family day

Penn State Graduation

We had reserved hotel for a 2 night stay because it was required. The hotel was so dirty we had to leave the next day. The owner was very friendly, but it wasn't enough to overlook the bigger picture...UGH

What?

the hotel is a pretty good location between big al's tuna ville and state college. however its poorly maintained, and you feel dirty just sleeping there. no one came in to clean the room and provide fresh towels between days. at one point i was unable to get into my room because i had locked the key in the room and no one was attending the front desk. But if your straped for cash and you don't care about a few minor gross details its the best bang for you buck in the area the next cheapest hotel in the area is about twice as much. plus this place has a bar!

Dining tip: Long walk from hotel

the sheetz up the street is an awesome place for a meal at anytime. and the bar "the lounge" that is in the inn is pretty cool for a drink and a round of pool if you can't sleep
