An honest review...
Let me start my saying that the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. When we arrived, the room had a musty, damp feeling. It was clean but still felt unclean. The bathroom was clean and the towels were FRESH. I feel, that for the price we paid for the room, breakfast should have been included. One morning, I went to use the pool and they were cleaning it and the hot tub seemed to be empty. All in all, a very expensive hotel for the area it is located. I was disappointed because my mom stays at this hotel name frequently and always has great reviews. I wish I could say the same!!!

Go to Hoss's Steakhouse...it has a marvelous buffet and the meat is tender and juicy!!!

Well Worth The Money!
We were in Altoona,Pa to see two baseball games between the Altoona Curve and the Harrisburg Senators and probably stayed at the best hotel in Altoona. This was our 2nd trip to Altoona and the 2nd stay at this Marriott. It would have been nice if there were more dining options in the hotel. They only had breakfast.

Kings Restaurant is a nice family type restaurant that has good food and very reasonable prices. We were there for lunch but the gentleman next to me had pancakes and they looked good!

good hotel
the hotel had a great location if you are going to the convention center. It is a few miles from the heart of downtown Altoona. Also close to the curve stadium. Overall great.
