Great Place to stay
We had a great experience! The staff was very friendly (especially colleen who checked us in) The rooms are nice with a microwave fridge and sink set up in like bar style. Lots of room to move around and not a bad view in the place. We had a view of the wetlands and it was nice to see the water fowl swimming around. Love that the pool and spa area are open 24hrs!!! Will definalty come back for another stay.

Nice clean place, no frills
Shiloh Inn in Warrenton/Astoria was great! The staff was very friendly, the room was clean, and the continental breakfast had a lot of options to choose from. We stayed after attending a wedding, and we loved the late check in and late check out, and we were surprised that they had a 24 hour indoor pool.

Nice view, worn
Very friendly staff and breakfast was par with others. Hotel needs a upgrade worn and tired and I was concerned if it was clean with small children. It was clean but when worn like this you do not feel comfortable espically with small children.Asked for non smoking rooms and they smelled like smoke. View if on the side of the water was great.

Quiet and comfortable
Hotel is quiet and comfortable. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. I slept better than I do at home. The pool was on the cold side, but the hot tub made up for it. We enjoyed our stay.

Nice time, clean room and friendly peopl
The hotel was typical, nothing great just a clean place to sleep. The little gal that stocked the breakfast table was a real sweetheart, like a Mrs Doubtfire. Fort Stevens was by the far the best part of the trip!!!!! cant wait to go back for that. found a nice place for breakfast in Warrenton, Serindipity I think was the name, Food was ok. Like to know where the locals go to ride dirt bikes, that would be worth knowing. Nice climate for riding.

Don't go!
#1. Confusion. The hotel clerk was so stressed she was near tears. Another [...]customer was also waiting for a room they had booked online... "nothing is available", we were both told. "Please wait". We both waited for almost an hour. Finally we were given a room.#2. Lousy breakfast. We were told, "Breakfast is from 6-10". We arrived at 9:30. No waffle batter ("We can't mix more). No cereal. No omelets, no breakfast burritos, and no muffins left. All of the gravy for the biscuits was gone. A nice older gentleman who seemed overwhelmed tried to help, but didn't seem to know what was going on.Bottom line, this was the worst place we stayed out of 7 different hotels/motels.I will avoid Shilo.

Not a bad place
Overall we enjoyed our stay. Rooms were clean and decent size. Better than average complimentary breakfast that I wasn't expecting, so that was a definate plus. Pool was open 24 hours, so that kept the kids happy since we were out pretty late each night. Conviently located right off highway with restraunts and shopping areas real close.

Dated but a nice hotel
The rooms were nice but I was surpised they still used a keyed entry system. The hotel internal advertising was post 1980s. While the hotel was clean and well cared for everything was extremely dated. If it doesn't bother you to be taken back to 1980... One downside was the morning hotel provided breakfast which was poor at best. Some cut fresh fruit or oatmeal would have provide a better value than the plastic wrapped pastries and boxed corn flakes.
