Hotel Overview
Nice place, next to the mall.
A good first experience. Would stay again if I was headed that way.

Has the basic requirements
The bed and pillows are not that comfortable, but the room is clean and no bed bugs! Everything works and the staff is accommodating. I bring my own soaps and washes so that is fine, but I always forget to get dish soap and salt and pepper when I get kitchen supplies and food. I got a queen sized bed this time but it wasn't any better than the full sized bed and room. The heater/air conditioner dries the room out and gave me a sore throat until I put a wet towel over the blowers. Not sure the filters are changed very often. Even so, I would probably stay there again. I want a clean, safe room with kitchen amenities for a reasonable price and it has that!

Needing refuge from Duck deluge
I was in Eugene for a conference that happened to fall on a weekend that the Duck's were playing. My conference was near the stadium so getting a hotel near the stadium as well was my plan. I have stayed in Downtown Eugene in the past and was unable to find a room for the Friday-Sunday that I needed. I came across the Crossroads in Springfield as an affordable and close option. For me the location was ideal but I don't know that it is close to much else than the mall. This is a mid-range budget hotel so don't expect frills, but my experience was good. The room was...cozy, but clean. It had a small bathroom with shower. It did feature a kitchenette that was stocked with a few basics that you could cook lightly with or easily heat a leftover or microwave type meal. There is a covered bus stop in front of the hotel and it is near the Gateway Mall so standard chain food is easily available. It was easy to get to Coburg Road as well with Trader Joe's nearby and plenty of shopping at all the major stores if you needed or wanted that. Wireless is not included but you can buy very slow internet access for $5 for the length of your stay or upgrade to a reasonable speed for a bit more. No flat screen TV but there was a TV of average size with very basic cable access.

Good value with kitchenette
If you need a reasonable place to stay with a small kitchenette this is a good value. Remember to bring your own shampoo! The room was clean but smelt a bit odd, maybe due to the new carpeting. The mini-fridge was very loud, so I'd recommend earplugs. This is not the ritz, but functions well for a quick stay.

easy acess to value dining
Was looking for a good value for an overnight with easy access to dining. This met my expectations although was a little hard to get to from I-5 initially.

It was okay
Even though the room was no smoking, it still had an odor of smoke. There was no hair dryer in the room (we got one from the office) or iron or ironing board. Otherwise the room was just ordinary.

It was ok.
It was ok. We were very specific about not having any cigarette smoke issues and the clerk kindly upgraded us to a ground level unit, allowed us to look at the room before completing booking. She advised that all their smoking units are on the third floor. Our room was clean and comfortable for the price.
