Great location at a good value
We arrived at the hotel early, and the staff was more than happy to let us check in early. The continental breakfast was just that. The pool and spa area was clean and well taken care of. The location was perfect for what we were looking for. We were close to shops, dinning, and the aquarium. For an older hotel, the rooms were clean but a little dated. I would and will stay at this hotel again.

Nothing special
Older hotel right on the beach. The staff was indifferent and seemed to be more interested in what was on t.v. Room was small, even though it was a "deluxe" and when we entered it was about 80 degrees and very stuffy had to turn the thermostat off and air out the room. Bathroom was also small and the exhaust fan did not work, only two bath towel's provided even though there were two adults staying in the unit. The view of the ocean was great although the location on the first floor gave the frequent pedestrians a good view of us in the room as well, I would suggest asking for a second or third floor room instead. We did not try the free breakfast.

Awesome, rustic, authenticity.
Seashore was awesome. My sister is paralyzed and we got down to Seaside late Mon. nite expecting a reservation at another hotel. After an hour of calling around we found she had come down on the wrong week and there was no opening for the room. We called Seashore and the staff immediately worked us in to a wheelchair accessible room with a fantastic view and gave us an incredible price for being on the beach. The atmosphere is very rustic. It felt to me like the original setting from 50 years ago for cozy, friendly, family oriented vacationing. The continental breakfast could use a little expansion, but all in all, I plan on only going there from now on. I love the family friendly staff.

View awesome
Only third story rooms had balconies. We could only get a second story room. We would have loved a balcony. Otherwise, the view was awesome. It is close to everything, but just enough out of the way to avoid being overly noisy. Small hotel, felt more relaxed. For the price, however, the breakfast could have been better. We have stayed in cheaper hotels that provided buffet breakfasts with much better selections.

Seaside weekend
Friendly staff. Nice rooms with fridge and microwave and TV/DVD. Right on the beach with the best view. Only mild complaint would be needing a bit more ventilation during humid days. Pool was nice and the dry sauna felt great after a morning of biking.

Great Location, Horrible Stench
Staff allowed a late check-in (after midnight). When we got to the room there was a strong, terrible smell. Since it was late we tried to sleep anyway, but couldn't because the stench was just too bad. We asked the manager to try to remove it, but later that afternoon we went back and it was just as bad, so we forfeited our paid night and stayed somewhere else. The shower was new, but the rest of the room was old and needed updating, and we were in one of their best "deluxe" rooms. The free breakfast was mediocre. They have a great location and view though, so if you don't mind staying in a run-down room that stinks, then this place is for you.

Great location, great price!
The room was pretty good size but the shower seemed cramped. After showering or after sleeping all night, the windows were covered with condensation, thus hindering an otherwise great view of the ocean. The free continental breakfast was so so. There were no hot items except coffee. But we did not go there for the breakfast so no biggie.

Sightseeing tip:
In Hotel
We were right on the famous Seaside Promenade and easy walking to many restaurants and the carousel shopping mall. The Promenade is 1.8 miles total, paved, flat and great view of the beach and ocean. You can walk to the beach from the Promenade at many places.
