Below what I would expect from a Shilo
While the staff was friendly and helpful and the continental breakfast adequate, the property itself was poor. All the furniture in both the lobby and in our king suite was in poor condition, rips and patches and very dirty and used. The same for carpets and wallpaper. The pool water was so hazy that I'm sure it was not properly cleaned and treated. The floor of the hot tub was either stained or very dirty. I would not stay here again and it makes me wonder about other Shilo properties as well.

disappointing - not a 3 star!
The decor of the room has not been updated since the early 90s. The TV was small and old. The fabric on the chairs was tattered and worn. The hallway noise was loud and everytime someone opened and closed their door, the door in our room rattled...until late in the evening...not a restful place to sleep. Finally, there was mold on the shower curtain. I do not recommend this hotel.

Horrible!!!!!!!!
The picture are not even the hotel......The pool wasnt warn nor could you go in the hot tub because it was green!!!! There was spit in the water fountain. The bed was very uncomfortable and there was a pounding noise all night!!! The shower didnt drain and the room smelled horrible!

The room size was nice, but it stunk. The bathroom was not clean and the floor had not been vacumed well.

Great space for the money!
Very enjoyable, room was great price for what was available. Only complaint would be the poor water flow in shower and the creaky bathroom. Great local! Great for a weekend getaway!

Oregon State Fair
Great stay. Excellent Breakfast, Real fresh cooked Waffels!!! Great covered parking. Internet access. Excellent location to I-5 and the State Fair. "The Band Perry" concert was Awesome, We had front row seats!!!! We will be back ;)

How to improve.
Instead of having the television in front of the front desk staff it should be aligned so that they do not spend their time watching it. Too much time was spent either doing personal work (reading casual books, phones, etc) or watching the tv and that was rather disappointing. Spending work time working and helping guests would be novel...
