How to improve.
Instead of having the television in front of the front desk staff it should be aligned so that they do not spend their time watching it. Too much time was spent either doing personal work (reading casual books, phones, etc) or watching the tv and that was rather disappointing. Spending work time working and helping guests would be novel...

My recent visit
I stayed at this hotel as the local brand I normally use does not have a nearby presence to where I needed to be. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially when I couldn't figure out why the AC wasn't working very well. The bed wasn't the most comfortable and the TV's were quite small. Odd that service didn't include CBS or NBC - at least not as listed. Other than that, it was a completely ordinary hotel, not the best I've ever stayed at, nor the worst.

Just ok
I stayed one night and visisted my Daughtr and Grandkids. The kids came over and swam in the pool and had fun. The only down side was the vending machine on the fourth floor accepted $3.00 worth of quarters and would not return them. When I asked the desk clerk about it he seemed like he didn't care. I asked if he had change for a twenty dollar bill so I could get a soda and he curtly said" No, I don't." He was of no help at all.

Good room for the price...
Staff was on the phone with friends and made us WAIT to check in before finally saying, "Oh, ok, well, I gotta go, someone is here to check in." Clearly, it wasn't another hotel guest, as her feet were up and slow to handle our check-in. She put us on a noisy floor with an athletic team, the day before I got married (which is why I stayed in the good location of the hotel, close to where I needed to be), but then our toilet didn't work, no A/C in the rooms, and it was noisy from the main road out front. The guest service staff, who checked me in with my bridesmaid, was AWFUL, RUDE, and just plain slow.

Not Impressed
*Entrance to the hotel is a hit or miss. *Lobby reeked of chlorine from the pool *Playpen was dirty. *Only one elevator *TV remote did not work. Front Desk receptionist replaced batteries. That still did not work. Problem was never rectified. *Breakfast was grab and go. It was not the best but it was convenient. *I paid $69 to stay at a Sheraton at the Portland airport where we had a better experience than this $80/night hotel.

Quiet stay
Nice, large room, but TV's have not yet been upgraded. Location is far enough off the freeway to be quiet, but it is difficult to find the entrance. My locator website has the location on the other side of the street, the sign at the entrance is very small, and the hotel is behind a restaurant. Breakfast is only packaged pastries and beverages.
