Good for the price
If you are looking for a cheap, clean place to stay on a roadtrip, the Rodeway Inn is great. The room was satisfactory and the staff were helpful. The breakfast was just cereal, toast, and rolls in packages, but for the price it was alright.

Very Dirty
The hotel on the outside is not so clean, but when you get in your room it is worse! Very dirty and hotel smells like cury.

Austere, Great Price
Rodeway is conveniently located just off I-5, and far enough away we could sleep with the window open and not hear much traffic. The room was very clean, but without any extras: No microwave, coffee maker, ironing board, hairdryer. But the price was great, and I'd stay there again.

VERY UNSATISFIED IN SALEM
WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND!!!
The hotel staff had absolutely no customer service whatsoever. I asked for a room as far as possible from smoke and they put us smack dab in the middle of the smoking rooms. I am allergic to smoke and it gave me a really bad headache. I called the front desk and they moved us, thank goodness. That was the 1 and only positive thing that happened the entire time. I would never recommend the Roadway Inn in Salem, OR to ANYONE EVER!!

Roadway Inn
We didn't expect the Hilton..However, The elevator was not working, which meant we had to walk up 3 flights of stairs. The walls next to bed had (God knows what) stains on them. We had to fight all night long with the mattress pads..they kept bunching up. Then again we weren't expecting the Hilton.

Oregon Relocate
A place to get ready for tomarrow
Would liked to have had in room coffee. Continental breakfast was nil at best. ( no fruit ) Was fairly quiet after 11:00 pm, before that the doors from other rooms shutting (slamming at times) were annoying. Had a non smoking room, bedding kind of smelled like smoke. Room had a broken mirror.

Good quiet place
A good quiet to sleep and rest after a days touristing around. Simple but very clean. Basic continental breakfast available, quite good. Be sure to have dinner before retiring to the hotel, not many options available near the hotel.

Great value!
Although this is not a 4-star hotel, I gave the stay 4 stars. Immaculately clean, interior hallways and really helpful employees/management--accomodated us with an early check in! Price of the room was low compared to the value you get.
