Great bargain

Some friends and I were in town for a charity softball tournament. We just needed a comfortable, clean place to crash for a couple of nights without spending a lot of money. I had stayed at the same facility the prior year and convinced my friends to try it out. Other than the fan being a bit noisy at night, it was just as comfortable and clean as before, although there were a few "interesting characters" staying at the motel this time around, but we still felt safe. The in-room fridge is always a plus. Showers are clean and well kept up.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

There are a bizillion restaurants and services within a short drive on Market St and Lancaster Sts. Fairly easy freeway access too.

Won't break your budget

I was in the area for a job interview. I only needed a safe place to spend one night. This hotel met that need. It was very inexpensive. My room was on the freeway side of the building and I could hear the dull roar of traffic. Although I was in a non-smoking room, there was a strong smell of smoke and the bedspread had burn holes. Not someplace I'd stay if I were on vacation or a romantic get-away...but it was fine for a night's sleep. The bed was small and very firm. The staff was very friendly. They printed out directions to my appointment for me...no charge! I've stayed at very nice hotels that would have charged a fee for that service.

Very good for the price

This is a budget place, but perfect for my needs: refrigerator, microwave, sink, wi-fi. It was mostly clean, and the staff was excellent. Only complaint was the dirty AC filter, which set off my dust allergies the first night -- but I rinsed out the filter, and the rest of the stay was fine. Considering my 7 nights at Crossland cost what 2 nights would have cost at HoJo's, I consider this place a great find.

Time-saving tip: In Hotel

Ask for a room on the front side of the building -- less freeway noise there.

It worths your money.

It's close to freeway & shopping. Small room small kitchen with samll bed but staffs are friendly. Clean enough no smell. No hair-dryer but [...] the manager is very helpful to find one for my wife. No shampoo. The disappointment was after we bought raw materials from a nearby Safeway, we found the cooktop didn't work! Luckily the microwave works...In short, it worth your money for a stay, but don't expect too much.

Just a bed and shower

Just wanted a bed and shower for one night. What else do you need while traveling for pleasure? I am not one to spend time much time in a motel. The kitchen was a benefit; used for a hot breakfast after buying groceries the night before.
