Comfortable but staff unfriendly
I stay here due to price and was happy with the room, pool and decor. Was not impressed with the Desk staff and the Assistant Manger. Was put out to answer my questions. When she was asked if there might be a room availble she said no without checking. Whan I went to leave the desk clerk ignored me. People make a hotel and this one lost my business I will pay more for service and a nice person at the desk.

Pietros Pizza was most enjoyable, I loved the indoor neon light pirate theme miniture golf course. The pizza and the service were great. I will be visiting again on my next trip.

Very cheap; met expectations.
This hotel met my expectations; it was cheap, reasonably clean, and fairly quiet. The breakfast buffet looked adequate (I didn't eat there). There was a strong smell of disinfectant in the room. The pillows were unsatisfactory (lumpy chunks of foam). The hotel is right next to the freeway and your standard restaurants (Red Robin, McDonalds, etc.) are only 1.5 miles away.

The Evergreen Aviation Museum in McMinnville is about a 45-minute drive away, and has some amazing exhibits (especially the Spruce Goose). But beware! Traffic from McMinville to I-5 was at a stop most of the way. Our trip back was twice as long. Since traffic in the Portland area is notorious, schedule accordingly.
