100 percent non-smoking hotel. Comfort Inn and Suites Salem is situated within the Willamette Valley's Wine Region, at the foot of the Cascade Mountain Range. We offer easy access off I-5. Great Place

too much street noise!

We stayed here while we were helping our son move back home after the semester ended at Willamette Univ. We found the room comfortable and clean, but the noise from the street was constant (we even had a 3rd floor room). Between the street noice and the mini fridge clicking on and off all night, we didn't get a very good nights sleep.

Not to be confused with Comfort Inn...

i confused it with Comfort Inn when booking the trip and wished that i had booked with the other motel... oh well...

Comfortable...best sleep I've ever had on vacation

The Comfort Inn in Salem was like my home away from home the room was extremely large, clean and comfortable. The staff was so friendly and helpful that we were able to get around and complete all the little chores one has when traveling with children. Since it is located right off the freeway getting to our destination was very easy and when we returned in the evening we were able to walk to the surrounding restuarants for dinner. The indoor pool was just what we needed prior to calling it a night.

Sightseeing tip: Short drive from hotel

There is quite a few arears close by that you can hike to with great trails and spectacular views.
