THE STAY IN THE HOTEL WAS VERY COMFORTABLE AND THE BREAKFAST WAS AWSOME

We were touring some of the local areas. The hotel was nasty and I would not recommend it to anyone. the folks up front that checked us in had stained clothes and the place smelled of wet nasty dog.

It was a good place to stop and spend one night, but would have liked to take advantage of the pool as the cost of the room must have reflected that. To use the pool, since it's not heated, you really need to stay more than one night since check out is early (11am) and check in is late afternoon (4pm). Privacy was a bit limited as you had to keep the windows open to cool the rooms and while showering so you wouldn't set off the fire alarm (according to a posted sign in the bathroom).

The experience was absolutely awful. This was not an atmoshpere for a family vacation. That weekend that hotel's main purpose was to accomodate the needs of a hot rod convention. That is their choice, however, they misrepresented the environment of the hotel. In addition, the room was very tiny and very old and not up to standards. The woman at the front desk was very, very rude and continued to taunt me when I explained my concerns for my family and how I didn't think this was a good match for us. I very graciously requested a refund, of which she was very sarcastic and demeaning in her response and told me no. There was a gentleman there who agreed to refund me for one night of which she was very upset with and told him in a rather nasty way what she thought of his decision and me. Given the way I was treated, I left as I wouldn't feel safe there with my family nor I knew that it would not have been an enjoyable time at all. I paid for one night and left immediately as I knew that I was not going to stay there another minute with my family. I am upset with the hotel and Side Step's misrepresentation and that you would allow or encourage this type of behavior by a hotel towards a customer. I am very disatisfied with Side step also.

Never stay here. This place is a noisy dump. There's a gas station right on the property and so you spend your time listening to engines and breathing exhaust fumes.

I have used Cheap Tickets for many purchases over the years and this is the first time that I felt it was a complete rip off. The quoted rate of $88 ($95 after taxes) was almost twice what the quoted walk-in rate was. The hotel staff was extremely polite and informed me I should always call the hotel directly first before booking with an on-line booking site. This was a simple and clean hotel with very pleasant managers. I had no complaints about anything but the price which was certainly not worth $95 per night.

Had to take shower with window open so smoke alarm wouldn't go off per instructions on wall. Postage stamp size towels. Noisy refrigerator in room. Sheets didn't fit bed properly. Bad Motel.

The Economy Inn of Reedsport had a very comfortable bed, a big plus when you're tired from traveling a long distance. The area was quiet, and lent itself to a good night's rest, and seemed to be in a good part of town. I was not afraid to go out for a walk alone. However, my husband had trouble accessing the internet from our room. Also, the bathroom had a strange sign suggesting that we needed to open the window to take a shower in order to prevent the smoke alarm from going off. I would suggest this problem be fixed to eliminate the need for a "cold" shower and possible exposure to outside viewers. Overall, the room was comfortable for sleeping, the temperature was great.
