Friends' Getaway

We really liked this hotel. Our room was spacious, clean and very quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the offer of 4 choices of wines in the late afternoon and good coffee in the morning were greatly appreciated. The location was near to restaurants and shopping, very convenient.

Quick stop in Portland

Was just passing through town and so glad to have stayed at the Vintage Plaza on a Friday night. For those who don't want to walk far, there is something for nearly everyone's food & beverage tastes within a two block radius. We took a short walk to the Pearl District and had a late dinner at Andina, a Peruvian restaurant. Ended up being one of the finest restaurant experiences I've had in a while. Came back to the warm, clean, welcoming room, hot showers and animal print robes (SO fun.) All staff we met were warm, professional and totally service-oriented. Wish I could have stayed longer and taken advantage of the wine happy hour in the 'living room' and other hotel amenities. Highly recommended.

Check out Peruvian restaurant Andina on 12th & Harrison in the Pearl District. Cocktails are artful and a little exotic and perfectly mixed. Big plates or small plates depending on your budget, fresh fruit salsas, warm sophisticated decor and food that will transport you to a very very happy place. Don't miss it.
