Parking Problem
One negative. Our son picked us up at the airport and took us to this hotel. He received a $40 parking ticket for parking his auto in the hotel lot while helping us with our baggage into the hotel. All thirty minute spaces were taken and the hotel entry had two unattended vehicles parked in front of it. We took our baggage out of his car and took them to our room and came out to the vehicle with a parking ticket on it. Fifteen minutes is all we needed to get back to the car. What a rip-off !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Conference
No fridge, micro, extra seating...room was clean, yet very outdated. For the price, hotel should be upgraded. Staff upon arrival was there, but never said a word until Micheal came out from the back and jogged to the desk to check me in while two women leaned against the counter looking at me but not saying a word or even a smile... Food at our conference was good...must have a mid-eastern chef.

Marathon Weekend
This was a great deal for a hotel near downtown Portland. Friendly staff, easy parking, comfy beds, good breakfast buffet. They did some special things for marathoners like providing water and snacks in the lobby as well as allowing a late check-out time so runners could shower. Nice place.

Very nice for a University/Downtown hote
We have stayed at this hotel three times since visiting in the Portland area. It is very amenable and clean. Nothing fancy and just the necessities, but the rates are great and employees are learning the business under the University protocol, so having young people there trying to meet all needs was great. Hotel and Management are updating all the time, it is always looking for something better.

Close to any items of interest downtown - can take the rail, or the max and bus - transportation system is great!
