Overall Great Experience

The parking lost us from the get go... the original parking for the hotel was an absolute hunt. We ended up at the parking garage at the corner diagnal from our hotel. When checking in the lady helping was a lil rude and tried to charge me more as she said i had more people staying in the room than originally reserved. I had to argue with her and explain i not only reserved for 6 people but I confirmed both thru the online reservation site and in calling the Hotel in advance the 6 people. She left it alone after that but i thought she was rude. Anyways we stayed in a "executive double queen" room and it was amazing and beautiful. We enjoyed having the full kitchen for our snacks and the beds were AMAZING pillowtop clouds of comfort. The breakfast was wonderful and had many options including a awesome coffee machine with many flavor/style options. The morning staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definately stay here again!!

Fantastic place to stay in Portland

We were greeted by a very cheerful and helpful hostess. The hotel is close to everything in downtown Portland and has a kitchen if you want to cook and a very complete breakfast. Coffee and beverages are available all the time.

I little pricey

I hung out with friends and eat at different eateries. One was Paleys place that was great. We just stayed one night at this hotel and it was very nice . the staff were great . the Hotel took dogs. and the bed was totally great. the room was a bit small and I heard noise from another room . but there was a mini Kitchen so you could really get a good stay in here. Parking was extra but it was not that bad really 14 bucks for in and out 24 hours.

Not Happy

Was not that I was going to be charged $18 to park untill the next morning. I could here the couple in the next room clearly all night. The coffee in the morning came out of a machine, and was terrible. TV was very limited, no roots channel for the Mariners game.

Our Portland favorite/high value for $

We have been staying at the Mark Spencer for years. Every room has a kitchenette - perfect for making inexpensive meals when traveling with kids. Room rates are more reasonable than most Portland hotels. Very comfortable.
