Super 8 Portland Airport

Very quiet even though we were next to a freeway and the Airport. I missed my Tempedic bed, but their bed was alright. There was no refrigerator in the room so I was unable to save my Subway sandwich for the next day. The Breakfast was alright too, I've seen worse ones and I've seen better ones.

Very close to the airport with shuttle. Older hotel however it was exceptionally clean, room was small but very adequate for our needs. The only con was that it didn't have a elevator so we had to lug heavy suitcases down a few stairs, but we managed fine. Friendly helpful staff.

My room was clean and the hotel was really close to the Portland airport. Nothing special about the hotel at all.

The establishment felt old and as if it had been somewhat refurbished. The room had an odor when I arrived, so I opened the window, put on the fan, and used a little room spray that I travel with, which made things okay. I think it was really just a stale smell. Carpet and bathroom were clean. "Breakfast" was choice of English Muffins to toast with a choice of Smart Balance, two jams or peanut butter; a few small sweet muffins, and either Fruit Loops, Corn Flakes or Oatmeal, plus two juices. No biggie. Still for just needing a place to sleep and then shower in the morning, this more than sufficed, as I'd rather spend my dollars on other things. And there's a complimentary shuttle to and from the airport which is always helpful. I happened to have a rental car.

The shuttle met us at Cascade Station to take us to the hotel for a very early flight the next morning. In the morning, the shuttle was ready and waiting for us at 4:30 to take us to the airport. Despite the fact there was an entire school bus of kids staying at the hotel, didn't hear a thing. No road or noise from the parking lot either. Only thing that would have made it better if at 4:15 am they would have had coffee ready.

came in too late for train and was leaving four days later too early for the train ride back, so stayed the night we arrived and the night before we left. For my daughter and I it was easy, friendly, and affordable. Nothing fancy, but for a place to sleep it was quiet and the beds were acceptable. The room meet our needs, the staff (shuttle driver, front desk clerk, and shift manager) exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was nothing to brag about, but again, the price, and convenience were most important and on those features it couldn't have done much better.

We needed a place to stay the night before our very early morning flight that was close to the car rental, this was next door. The man at the desk was very helpful and check in extra easy. I asked for 2 more pillows and he brought them right away. There's not much in the area other than car rentals and hotels, it is 2.5 mi from the airport. The airport shuttle was great. Our room was an accessible room and we had an extra large and very clean bathroom. we had to leave too early in the morning so we didn't get to try the breakfast which starts at 5:00am on weekdays.

Got above-and-beyond service by the airport shuttle driver. Not only did he pick us up promptly, but offered to drive us to the nearby Shari's AND pick us up when we were done eating. Staff also let us move to a room further from the stairs. Airplane noise was significant until late. No elevators. Smoky hallway, but room was fine (with the exception of a very slow sink drain). Not within walking distance (esp. at night) to food. Breakfast was VERY limited - English muffins, pastries, cereal, oatmeal - that's it. Overall, a good cheap place to stay overnight when traveling. Staff was very helpful.
