2 night stay

the experience overall was not so good. why you ask? well let me tell you why. first thing, its the beds. they really need to be swapped out. they are so old, how old? You can feel the springs rub up on your spine when you breath. seriously not pleasant at all. its like trying to sleep on legos. The bathroom reminded me of like an old hotel and casino kind. they should really check on their tub drainage, its pretty slow. the included breakfast was good. but a little too salty for my tastes. the coffee, it was not bad, it was hot and strong. if they just updated the rooms a bit, it would totally be a nice little place.

Weekend stay

Comfortable, affordable, good central location in the portland area. Breakfast was "included" but there were only three choices and the choices weren't the best. I ended up going to the grocery store down the street and buying groceries for breakfast instead of eating the included breakfast. I would probably stay here again if I had to.

Outside of Downtown, needs updates

Shouldn't be mistaken for a hotel. First, the room keys are gigantic hard keys. Second, the carpet, bedding, decor is just stuck in the 80s. The carpet needs to be pulled, the doors need to be more secure. Nice view and relaxation of the courtyard fountain. Also, the area of rooms including 223,227: the second sink outside of the bathroom has little to no water pressure. AND the security of guests was questionable because the "10p door locks" for exterior entry were never locked after 10p. Should not cost more than $69/night. Ok if you want to stay within driving distance to downtown Portland.

old and OK

The non-smoking room full of smoking smell when we came in. called front-desk, just sent someone to spray. I'd rather smell the smoke than the chemical. the hotel is kind of old. room and amenities, gym equipment. still use KEYs rather than card. wifi signal doesn't cover the whole room. complimentary breakfast is not buffet, only 3 options. order the same dish for all 3 mornings made me sick.

A good stay!

The check-in process went very smoothly, and our room was very clean and comfortable. The room was a nice size and the bed was very comfortable. the room came with a complimentary breakfast which was something I didn't expect. The staff at the front desk were very friendly. the price was very reasonable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that had something they were planning to do in the area nearby.

Great Location

We needed to be at a wedding east of the hotel and Portland was west of the hotel. Is access to both it was. The staff gave us great recommendations for things to do, where to get coffee, and how to get there. The breakfast was perfect every morning.

romantic getaway

Perfect location..very friendly staff. Great breakfast buffet that was included in the price of the room. The cost is less money and a much better 3 star value than hotels nearby that are only 2 star. Thank you!!

lovely grounds, park lit setting. sit down hot breakfast in restaurant

stayed here several times. It is right on the main road but the way the motel sits down in a gully it is very quiet and there is a beautifully landscaped garden with a fountain and pond. A nice sit down breakfast is also included.

Comfy Stay with Complimentary Breakfast

The room was clean, with a mini fridge and a microwave at my disposal. The bathroom was a descent size, and clean towels were aplenty. Room service arrived at a reasonable time when you would be awake. The Mark, a restaurant in the hotel, offered guests complimentary breakfast (and it wasn't a teeny weeny cereal or fruit salad but an actual large breakfast, with a buffet on Friday morning).
