Nice value and location to save $ but close to DT Portland

Hotel setup is ok. Nice way to save $ for a Portland trip without having to stay DT Portland--close enough to freeway, about a 8 minute drive to DT.

old and in need of a remodel, the room was just ok and the area around the hotel had very little to offer. I will stay else where next time.

Nice place to stay in Beaverton

I arrived and checked in easily, my room was fine and there was a complimentary wine voucher too. The bar area was noisy and the staff moved me to tge restaurant area to sit although I wasn't having dinner. When I got hungry later, I had room service and it was not only delicious but very affordable too. Overall, Shilo Inn was a great deal and I will stay there again.

Not that special

We had a room that really smelled like cigarettes and the whole establishment is super outdated and the carpets need replacing.

2 night stay

the experience overall was not so good. why you ask? well let me tell you why. first thing, its the beds. they really need to be swapped out. they are so old, how old? You can feel the springs rub up on your spine when you breath. seriously not pleasant at all. its like trying to sleep on legos. The bathroom reminded me of like an old hotel and casino kind. they should really check on their tub drainage, its pretty slow. the included breakfast was good. but a little too salty for my tastes. the coffee, it was not bad, it was hot and strong. if they just updated the rooms a bit, it would totally be a nice little place.

Entertainment tip: Short drive from hotel

If you are interested in night life, there are a few adult places down the street. i've never visited, so buyer beware?

Shilo Inn/PDX

Poor internet connection and non-functional TV/Dish box made stay frustrating. Found my self using laptop in the lobby simply for a usable internet connection that was still quite slow. The TV issue did not become apparent until late in the evening when there was nothing to bo done. Fortunately, I was tired and went to sleep early.
