Clean room - nice landscaping. Lots of stairs and hills to climb. Restaurant had good food but service was very slow. Staff helpful and friendly. Close to shopping and plenty of other restaurant choices nearby.

Gross place and horrible staff!

This place was a nightmare! The room smelled terrible, carpet was disgusting, and I almost couldn't believe the mold in the shower and dog hair on the floor in bath. The staff was rude at best and not concerned with guests needs. I have to say, the worst part was after I complained to manegment, I recieved a call from the district general maneger. His only interest was to tell me that he checked the room and I was wrong! Nice. Warning, this place is a dump and the pool is dirty and freezing.

Visiting my son

The hotel was in a great location for my visit. My son and I had a great time and enjoyed our time together. The hotel was in a straight line to his home on SW Canyon Rd. It was easy to find and convenient. It was very quiet and I slept well which is great for me since I have a difficult time sleeping away from home. They let me in the room at by noon which was really great! I couldn't have been happier.

Probably a very nice hotel when it was new

First, I don't recognize any of the photos on this site, they must be old. The main bldg is nice, but if you're staying in one of the other bldgs, its kind of a maze to get to your room. The room was nice (slight smell of cigarettes, didn't notice it after 5 min.) The free wi-fi worked well, and the breakfast was better than expected - a real breakfast in a restaurant. Choices were very limited, and they charge for beverages, but the food was quite good. Overall, a nice value.

Alright Hotel

My experience at this location was alright at best, first of all the hotel is located next to what appears to be several strip clubs making it kind of an odd location, especially for any family vacations. Secondly the room I received was not like the pictures posted on the site but instead was outdated, and not too clean. Overall I would say you could probably find a similar hotel for a cheaper price, and would not recommend this hotel. The only positive thing I have to say about the hotel is that the staff appeared to be friendly, but I didn't have much interaction between them other than checking in and out.

Good bar and restaurant.

Nice setting if you get a garden suite. The price is reasonable for a suite. No comfortable chairs and a tube TV with a box that will charge you $9.95 for music. I would not stay here more than a day.

Online Lies!

I booked this visit because the pictures. They are NOT what I got at all. Rooms are very old and outdated, bedding is thin and very warn. Don't bother ask your front desk to be helpful, I called and asked about pool towels, they seemed confused and I should take ones from room. I had to go to desk for more room towels for showering, and he handed them he says " I guess this will be ok, we might get more tonight" ??? Hotel without towels? My key didn't work upon arrival and I was told to go back to desk.... with all my luggage and my toddler. Room airfresh smelled awful. Asked which direction to locate food, told names of areas like a local. Worst customer service. They are completely unwilling to "help" any of their guests, with anything! This place is so not worth it, for $30 more go with the 5 star. Its not a hotel, its a motel 6 with a little larger rooms at twice the price.

Be of good cheer, stay here

This was my second stay at the same Shiloh Inn and I highly recommend it. The rooms are lovely, the complimentary breakfast is wonderful, the check-in staff very helpful, I will be traveling again to Portland shortly and will stay at this Shiloh again. The lobby is beautiful as are the grounds. And it is so quiet.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

Within about a five minute drive you will find numerous restaurants. We ate at Antoni's/mediterrean and american food - it was delicious. Also within that same five minutes is a shopping center with a good variety of shops.
